Drake came up under Trey. Trey was the first major artist to really fuck with Drake. They've got a lot of collaborations on Drake's earlier projects. They're basically all fire. Trey rapped some but was more of a singer. His early mixtapes had more rapping but very little of his major label studio stuff does. Those Drake mixtapes tho have a couple fire Trey Songz versus. As for the beat, this was Danjahands, who produced under Timbaland. I don't remember if he got credit for this, or if this was ghost produced for Tim, but that's what was going on at the time. Other songs from Danja in this era were Ayo Technology by Justin Timberlake ft 50 Cent, and Bobby Valentino's Anonymous (fire btw)
