I love my Treysit Sirometer. Measures from 800 to 50,000 RPM within 1% or 2% accuracy. Neat as can be.

Just bought one. I Could not find a digital small engine tachometer that had decent reviews. After watching few videos on this device, I decided it's what I was going with.

Runleader tachometer is under $20 bucks, very accurate, Battery powered,, use a small battery clamp to clamp to your mower, snow blower plug, very reliable.

Its not that old if it has a website address on it. It was sold under a lot of different companies. My old one has “Daimler Chrysler Academy” on the pouch and no web address on it anywhere. I’d guess yours is from somewhere around 2000-ish with a web address on it. Guess that pretty much fits with 20-ish years old…

When the loop at the end of the wire is vibrating at it's widest arc, you read the rpm off the dial.

It's only ever 'RPM' - not rpm's. You don't pluralize abbreviations.
