Tri-Cast Perception XN Pole

Great vid. Can you just clarify something please? Why do you think that tri-cast can only make a spare if they have exactly the same cloth? This mandrel is used to make several poles with different carbon, so why can't they just use the closest equivalent available? Your video appears to show a different carbon/finish for the #4 section anyway. Nearly 2 years on, do you still think that this is the best sub £1500 pole on the market?

It’s a shame they don’t provide the pole with pullers. Every other main manufacturer has done this now and I’m hoping Tri-cast do the same. Looks like a great pole in the 1k price range.

Why does it matter if it got pullas on them. Last 6 poles I have had don't have side pulla daiwa match kits don't have wraps on them. I prefer them with no side pulla really as can pick which ones I want and even if I want them drilling. And if you want them a tackle shop will normally fit them for you free of charge when purchasing it so no big deal breaker

Love tricast poles but £100 for extra top kits 🤔I've got the cerberus 20 years, still going strong👍

I've got one and the only thing I thought and others is the three doesn't feel as "thick" and strong as the other sections,mabie its designed this way ??

Not fully compatible with the 980. Found it only compatible up to the 13m. Lovely pole though. Got to be the best sub 2 grand pole on the market

Hi Kelv. Hope you get this... Putting 2 & 2 together, I realise who you are from another forum and know that you bought both the perception & 980. Do you still think that the perception is the best sub £1500 pole today? I'm considering buying one. Cheers mate.

And not 15.8m its more 15.56m ish so not true length as mentioned in the video
