Most of us driving these old cars feel a pride of ownership, but very few people own their car as much as you do. Basically you started with some metal and rust that kind of looked like a 55 chevy and made it a rolling work of art. The skill you got makes the work look almost simple and straightforward. Your artistry is gonna roll down the road instead of hanging on a gallery wall. If you hadn't made these videos very few people would know just what you've got. Keep it up and keep these videos coming please.

Wow I absolutely think this is the best comment I’ve ever had. Thank you very much! I definitely take pride and ownership with my cars. Weather they start from scratch or pretty decent. At the end of the day keeping them on the road and not letting them die is what it is about for me. Again thank you very much!

Hey big guy! Waiting for more content on your progress with the roll up window conversion. Have not found anyone who has done this yet, and am super curious how this will all go together. Keep up the great work.

Love that you're showing us how to do this but its just a little dark . Im sure its awesome but a little more light would make your video a 10/10.

Making a really clean conversion, Glad you showed us steps used in doing this, please show how at the top how you take care of the gap left where roof and headliner have to go to garnish molding. Really a super job by not having a 2 door donor and all built from scratch.

Absolutely I sure will. It’s just rough In right now. More to come on it when I put regulator’s in

As a body man for many years,the only sad thing is that when you're finished you don't want it to look like anything was done.So far so good on your project.
@LovettSpeedShop3 жыл бұрын
I agree with that. That’s what I shooting for but the inner rear doors were to far gone to use. So I made them from hand. Once the door panels go in you won’t be able to tell.

It's too bad they were toast,it would have saved you some work.But if it was easy everyone would be doing it right?

I'm exactly at this point in my conversion. I'm just doing the non roll up windows with a rubber seal. Great detail on your process. I just plan on welding in the inner rear frame for structure. Should all work. :=)
@LovettSpeedShop3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely that’s awesome. I wanted to do the roll up window because I’ve never seen it done without a 2door doner. Thank you and good luck.

Don't forget to add access openings to allow adjustment of windows and regulators..didn't know you have a second 55 you can use for reference
@LovettSpeedShop3 жыл бұрын
Yea I’m going to cut them in when I get ready to put the regulators in.

Great look on the inside panels. I kept wondering about access panels which you mentioned at the end. Will your rear windows open all the way? I am really enjoying the build on your car.

Thank you. Yes they will roll down as far as they do on a factory sedan

Good job man I got a two door that ended up being to rusty in the front and side of the roof from rats building a nest in the headliner that was left in it after I had it media blasted it was worse and ended needing a whole floor pan as well but I ran on to a nice almost rust free 4 door I'm going to use my 2 door to make it a two door one question I have is that back top quarter post how do u put it in just weld it solid on the very top out side I need more education on that part thank you sir
