I am very excited this week as we have another youtube review exclusive!
The Vertigo Nitro JBR is a flagship bike model from a particular trial brand. This video may shock or even scare you as it is the spooky season!
With the type of history and development, this bike has had over the last 5-10 years They better get it right! Claiming this is the 2 stroke trials bike king may just backfire....
This bike was literally 20 minutes out of the box! I couldn't help but be surprised and shocked at the power and feeling.
The ultimate trials machine from the 2 stroke perspective! As well as our own take on some old-school outdoor/indoor sections. Let's find out!
Don't be afraid, This is TRIALTUBE!
A huge thank you for the bike supply and support from the guys at Camio MOTO and Vertigo UK.

Bike looks amazing , I always wanted a set of green bars , just never had the balls lol ... Love the way the Busto Version has the protective sticker covering most of the frame , Good work Vertigo 🤩Quick Tip - Got the newer S3 adapters also in red , One complaint about them and how to fix it , If You crash and Your hand ends up near the edges of the (NEWER) S3 adjusters they are so sharp they rip Your gloves (and hand) The older versions had smoother rounded edges , , I filed them down until they were smooth and still easy to adjust ,

Does rhe JBR have the flywheel weight like the R2/3 had? Also you said they made the bashplate thicker. Was the first Gen nitro thinner then the R3? My R2 has held up much better then my scorpa or beta. Even thicker would be great, but I already was impressed with the stock one.

@@waynesimpson2074 the "lean knock" does confuse me. I own a R2 300. Oddly enough it is normally really good on the standard map. When you switch it over to gentle it knocks a bit. Also that knocking is after you let off the throttle, not while on it. You'd think the soft map would fight knock as it is richer with less agressive ignition timing, and yet... It really is a mystery to me.

@@arnauddechamps855 I haven't ridden a new gasgas, but I have ridden pretty much examples of all the other brands including gasgas from 2020-2021. There are a few things I can and will complain about with my Vertigo (R2 model), but I have yet to ride a bike that can match the performance and feel of my Vertigo. EFI just responds and feels different then a carb. I really like that feel. I also like that it doesn't matter of it is 90F. or 32F. outside. I pull my bike I out, give it a few kicks, let it warm up and go ride. It's simple. Carbed bikes are knocking in the cold, or hesitating in the extreme heat. Could I jet them for each condition sure. But it is currently 38F outside. 5 hrs from now it will be 50 something. Next week we will see 60's and then we will head down into the 40s and sadly soon enough 30's. I don't want to be messing with carb adjustments multiple times a week. I love simply starting my bike and having it work and feel the same as it always does regardless of the temp. I also love the smooth precise power of my R2. The feel and delivery is something a carb just can't do. Now some people would rather a carb because it is more agressive. I can respect that, but for me and my style of riding I love the character of EFI and I wouldn't want to go back to a carb.

My only issue with the JBR is that it's horrible at getting traction. Or I was horrible at getting traction while riding it. More than any other 300 I've ridden this thing has way too much power. Even doing big stuff you'll constantly be watching that you don't overcook the throttle.

Yup they are noisey. When you own one you tend to forget about it. Also cameras are good about picking up high frequency noise so just like an electric trials bike's whine is more annoying on vid so is the Vertigo fan. I'm guessing noise has to be fan rpm related. Idk either way at least it doesnt do the annoying squeal Scorpa/Sherco fans start doing. Seems even low hour Scorpa/Sherco fans start wearing out and making all sorts of noise. They still run forever after, but just obnoxiously. Still when they are right they are super quiet and sure I wish my Vertigo was a bit quieter. Idk that I'd say hard to fix. I DO ALL MY OWN BIKE SERVICE. I don't find anything really harder to do on my Vertigo then I do any other trials bike. Pulling the clutch requires a special tool. Jitsie sells one. I made my own because I can. Other then that the transmission and even crank can all come out without even pulling the motor from the frame. Cleaning the TB is as easy as pulling a carb and cleaning it. Technically easier because there are less parts to a TB. Airfilter... yet to see an easier one to get good access to. I think a more proper wording of your post would be it's different then a carb bike which we all have grown up with and learned. Is there a learning curve?.... sure. Is it hard... no. Fuel pump can be checked easily enough, and it's simple to replace if/when needed. TPS can be reset via wifi box. Simple mapping changes made with wifi as well in in certain conditions here it pays to make slight adjustments. No different then jetting a carb except I can do it in mere minutes via a few taps in my phone. I've owned my R2 for two years now. I was afraid when I bought it because it was different and I have no local dealer support. Closest one is a 5 hr drive now. When I purchased the bike the nearest one was 10 hrs away. Vertigo USA assured me I shouldn't have any problems, told me all the regular maintenance is like and other bike or easier. Anything complicated I have their cell number an can call for tech support anytime I need... which is great except I really don't need any 95% of the time because there isn't much issue with the bike ever. It just runs, and now know the system it is just like troubleshooting a carbed bike. It's still a 2t. Got air? Got spark? Got fuel? Air is simple, spark is simple to check as well. Got fuel? Well worst case you grab a cheap fuel pressure gauge and give her a check. Pressure good/ pressure bad. OK or replace pump. 15 min job to swap pumps. Tps reading weird ok new tps. Really from there what else is there? Like I said I was really scared to buy one from the other side of the US never seeing or riding one before. The tech scared me, but hey almost all modern street bikes are running EFI, cars have been EFI for quite a long time now. Snowmobiles have been using it for quite sometime now too. It's not some cray-z unproven tech. It's old tech that is finally making its way to the offroad environment and I am so glad I took a gamble on Vertigo. The bike has been amazing these last 2 years. Does it have some things I could gripe about... yup sure, and I did a 30 min review after 1 year of ownership of the bike and pointed out all the problems and flaws I had/ noticed with the bike. That said as of now there isn't any other bike I'd want to own except for a newer Vertigo.

@@shawnmcginnis2508 I have a Ossa tr280 factory model 2012 for 10 years now and the injection system is not a mechanical problem, it's works and don't think buyers have reasons to fear injection on the contrary. The main problem with the Ossa is it is difficult to start the engine, you need to spin the engine very fast and it is not easy because of the high compression of my model. The fact that the air fuel ratio is all the time ok is the best thing with a injected motorcycle. And what I love about the engine is that at very low RPM you can open the trottle and it never die suddenly. The Ossa is more difficult to work on than the Gas Gas or Vertigo, etc, but when you don't have to work on it it's not a big problem. The only major repair I had to do is to replace the crankshaft bearing and the shifting mechanism after a very bad hit on the shifter. Since the engine is a bit too strong for me I changed the trottle lever for a slow one. Ossa is sadly no more producing motorcycle but Vertigo seems to have a very good alternative.

Would you consider dropping the dog meme? I don't think it is as fun as you might think. Do need it in every video? What if you did something outrages, and shot a video and edited a video without adding any meme, skip the intro and drop the part where you explain the lines you ride? After all, we got eyes. And we can always re watch a part if we didn't get the line. That would save you editing work, and it would be easier to watch. And if you do feel extra foxy, keep the fun to the holidays. It was fun to watch your halloween intro and outro, it is not fun to watch all your meme's.

Thanks for the input Tian Johan, but “the dog” and bits and bobs were with us in the beginning and the videos are to appeal to everyone and there are kids that ask me about, “the dog” and bits and bobs. I get people “don’t have the time” to enjoy content nowadays and just want the info up front. But we are transitioning more and more. Thanks for the comment and views as always!

@@TrialTube I get what you say,. You are not a TV station, a TV channel or a show that floats on catch frases or legacy random bits and bobs. You are targeting a niche. People are looking for shorter to the point videos and info these days, not videos that a packed with non related info. Why do you think TikTok is so big? We are dinosaur's, sure there was a time meme was all fun and giggles, but that has passed. You shouldn't relay on bits and bobs that are none related to your focus point. You do you, but I really think you should have a good thinking about it, let it ripen for a week or two and then decide if you are open to try out a new to the point editing. You don't have to marry the new way, but do consider a date or two.

@@tianjohan4633 now you see, my videos were shorter int he beginning and people liked the longer ones (like a Tv show) as they remember how fun all of that was. The most sucessful trials entertainment of all time was Kick Start. That was half an hour and people loved it. This may be an u popular opinion but, I f#%^ing hate TikTok. Videos of people majorly without direction or in many cases talent or understanding. People looking to make a quick bit of fame. It’s for the low effort marketeer. Children. KZbin has become the new age TV and produced content takes time and effort. I could do the cut to cut, to cut, to cut style but then how’s that gonna help? Some people watch these videos and know nothing about trials so I many ways every video maybe the first they have ever seen. But happy to take tips of anyone and everyone.

I what way, too throaty? Or muffled? Deffo doesn’t “pink” like a carb bike?

Yeah I suppose it sounds a little muffled, almost has a 4 stroke sound to it if that makes sense. Im just use to the sound of a crisp carb bike, maybe the vertigo sound will grow on me. Definitely the best looking bike out by a long shot i think
