Trial Tube - How to ride your electric bike better?

After last week's episode (which was a nostalgic nod to the petrol golden age), we have decided. That this week we should go "Full Electric".
Putting the very best machines on the E-Bike Market to the test and hopefully helping our lovely audience learn a few more things about getting the Electric Motion machines to perform that little better.
So we headed up to the team at Inch Perfect to get the lovely guys there involved in helping to teach you all, "How to ride your electric bike better!"

Sarah was my instructor when I went to Inch Perfect for my covid delayed 60th birthday a couple of weeks back. First time on a trials bike for twenty five years my knees are still aching.

As an Escape R owner and recently used the bike to Marshall a Rally at Sweet Lamb complex the bike will go up and through any mud terrain and over obstacles the traction is unbelievable and far in excess to a petrol enduro bike,. No spinning up, no loss of traction, the PELS braking system is awesome for fine downhill braking. It really is a hell of bike, and it’s quite, nobody moans take it just about anywhere. The range will only get better as technology improves year on year but it done a 17 mile lap at high race speed and that was with only the second charge of the battery.from a new bike, (full performance after 10 charges). As a petrol enduro bike owner it’s a different animal for sure, but it certainly has its place and is a great piece of kit.

Great Vid however now your hooked on EM's😉😉😂😂 can we have more content on How to Ride Electric bikes better eg: a PT2, PT3. Advanced techniques? I really want to know if Gael has changed his 3 Position clutch from the standard position 1 to position 2 or 3 for a slower clutch action, that would give him greater grip when he dumps the clutch. I want to adjust my sons EM clutch but its a 'Motor out of the frame evolution' not a quick operation. Keep up the awesome work.

Thanks bud and I do like the EM, (not as much as my nitro) and the clutch pressure at standard feels good. Although I know Gael has it in the toughest setting.

Great video,I’m up at inch perfect on Sunday for the Gael chatagno em training day. Really enjoying the bike. Definitely agree with their point about not using the clutch when you don’t need to. It can deliver power so nice and smoothly.

It is a Beast!!!I also bought PRB-R lever.It is game changer for me!!!!!Going down the hill-is way better to control breaking(regen) than rear breaks!!! Sorry to say that-can't go "petrol" bike any more!!!!!!For me as a beginner it is way easy to control it.I'm not thinking to stall it.So many places to ride.I'm personally practicing at local Park..... Well done EM!!!!!

How heavy are the electric bikes ?

They are heavier than a combustion bike to ride but I guess it's all relative to the battery etc.

Well, better put some content up of you doing it….(I am waiting?) It’s also more about the smooth input of the throttle. I have seen too many people just “Wang it open” with a lack of control on the clutch finger…
