Always practical reviews on such important components. I’m glad I went with the new recommended profile design clip on aero bars.

what a comprehensive and detailed review! your videos are so priceless I think. However How do you fix that PD injected arm rests on m5 bolting clamps for the pads are using m6 bolts. I also tried using it on my felt ia(m5 for pad holding bolts) and bolts' dish head does not seem to be big enough to endure leverage force I apply on it. Thanks anyway, I did enjoy your review.

Thanks Peter. Using a large bolt head or a washer is the trick when using an M5 bolt

This is an amazing video, thank you for the info. Have you taken a look at the TriRig scoops? They seem to have lots of real estate and holes for fitting. Any opinions?

Thanks Juan. I've had a few clients opt for the TriRig product and they're very happy. Certainly one I'd consider

3T Aduro cradles with Ceegee pads are super comfortable and allow movement fore and aft for hills. I ride flat arms. The hands up position is slower for me via real-world testing.

it's good to know what works for you. Well done!

Thank you for such a useful video, would you have any thoughts on kismet hybrid (dual sided) arm cups and tririg's scoops (close and open). Im on a speedmax cf slx 2018 and am undecided with so many options out there. I am currently not running any angled wedges or spacers too

I ride a 2nd gen Trek Speed Concept & plans to swap the armrests with Profile Design Ergo. Are the screws similar? I reckon the Profile Design uses M6 screws, but not sure about the Trek's.

Can you email a pic of your arm rests (pads off) to setup@custombikefit.com and I'll have a look. You are correct about Profile Design using M6 bolts

I have a Specialized Shiv and it’s very true that the arm rest tend to flex on the side. Will the profile design ergo or revolvers fit if I intend to switch the arm rest?

Yes they'll fit with a little modification

Hi I’ve been watching the videos and some great valuable advice in there! I know your not a huge fan of the canyon cf slx but I have one and I think the arm rest /extensions might need replacing. I’m thinking of going with the sync ergonomic with the wedge pads ? Do you think that would work ? Kind regards Spencer Edwards from Victoria

Hi Spencer, I've fit the Sync Ergonomics wedges, arm cups and extensions to a number of the Canyon Speedmax CF SLX and the clients have been very happy. What extensions are you currently using? By all means give me a call on 0400 510 515. Cheers, Michael

Very good review... I have the new 2020 Cervelo P5, my first tri-bike, but the aerobars are a bit uncomfortable because my shoulders are very broad; my elbows are held too close in the cups of the bars. What would you recommend for me?
@custombikefit4664 жыл бұрын
Hi Marlon, you may need to engage the services of an engineer to make a plate to extend the width of the pads. That's the first thing I'd do, and then swap the pads out for a set of Profile Design Ergo Arm Rests. Where are you located?

Custom Bike Fit, I was thinking the same. I am in Silver Spring, Maryland, USA. Grateful for your response.

Hello there, I ride a 2nd gen Giant trinity (2018) & plans to swap the armrests with Profile Design Ergo. Could it work?
@custombikefit4662 жыл бұрын
Yes, just use the bolts from the Trinity arm rests
