Absolutely brilliant. Fantastic effort from James. I had tears in my eyes at the end. And well done to Simpson, Lee, Dan, Dean Huub, and all the support crew!

That was amazing, just finished watching it on the turbo trainer. A few thoughts: 1) I love the editing. No stupidly loud or excessive music as people are talking - which you often get on other videos and it's then really hard to focus on what someone is saying. Also nice blend of interviews and updates alongside the actual footage of the event. It made it really easy to follow along. 2) I think it's really brave of James Saxby to step up to this challenge. It must have been a huge amount of pressure, based on all your viewers, plus the sponsors, people helping, the support team. 3) I think Huub are brilliant for supporting you on this and all your other work. As you said, I don't see any other mainstream/big brands doing anything like this, most of them are focussing more on professionals and big events. The same applies to your other sponsors of course. 4) Things like this are really inspiring. As someone who can barely run a 5k, just seeing "normal people" pushing themselves and working together makes me want to get out there and get involved. 5) I think this kind of thing can really get people interested in sport and triathlon, as well as endurance events in general - same as your Brutal event. Similar to point 3 - this isn't some pro team who are paid to train, it's normal people with day jobs and lives doing really cool/difficult things. Great job everyone and thanks for sharing it all, I LOVED it!

Thanks very much :) yes certainly, especially when it got dark. It was a lot of laps, Lee who was the camera follow bike held the local legend on the circuit segment as he’d raced a crit on it a couple of weeks before 🤣. See you at Darley next year 👊
