It’s one of our Saturday morning club ride routes. Fairly flat, with some fast sections (old Fosse Way) and reasonable road surface for the most part.

The route changed for this years event due to roadworks on Gunthorpe Bridge missing Oxton Hill, and looks like mainly keeping the current route

Yes, there’s no hills to speak of. Just a couple of draggy road bridges over the A46.

Outlaw should take the route down Adbolton Lane (I think it's name) at Holme Pierrepoint towards Radcliffe, bit of gravel and huge potholes to mix up for fun! I'd class that section as a 'missing link'.. wish NCC would repair it and add a modal filter as potentially it could be a very well-used active travel corridor. Cheaper solution that for example segregated lanes along the A52.
