Did you pay for a videographer for this? Either way it was really great footage and high quality too. Usually videos of someone else's event can be pretty - particularly when it's quite long and detailed - but this was very immersive and engaging. Great job.

Great performance. I'd assumed that you'd got a great draft - I didn't know you could swim that fast! But mate, learn the rules - you can't touch your bike until your helmet is done up! Don't you work for British Triathlon?

Well done Dan great effort amazing time! Couple of Questions…why did you seed yourself so high for the swim? Was it to be out near the front pack? Also notice you wear a giro aero head. I have the Amex helmet and the visor always steams up, I have been tempted of late to wear a pair of sunnies like yourself but was worried whether that negates the aero benefits?

Thanks very much! When we queued for the start, everyone went to the first pontoon, I went to the second which is slightly further to swim but it’s a few metres at most, I decided that being in the water a minute or two ahead of where I would otherwise be would be better than being further back. I’m not sure what the aero situation is to be honest, but I find having the wind on my face helps me keep cool, I feel like I can see more and so I feel like I ride better as such. Sebi Kienle also rides like that sometimes so it must be ok 🤣
