One of the best and most successful bands ever and Morten Harket, the vocalist is known as one of the best voices in the music scene, for many people he is just the best. By the way the Band had a comeback in 2000, til 2010 they released many albums and had concerts all over the world. 2010 they said farewell but after 5 years they came again together and released albums. Their last album was released end of 2022, so they didn't stop making music, they sometimes took a long break to do solo work

Hello i am an A-HA fan from Scotland in the UK and i have been a fan of this band for 40 years now. The video was made using a technique called Rotescopy where hand drawings are made to go with live action shots of the band. 3,000 drawings were used to make this video. Thankyou for reacting to A-HA and Take on me . Take care 😘🏴

@TRYBALS : Salute, Adnan. Really cool to see A-ha on here, as they're my countrymen. The story in this video is basically about her reading the comics book, and after a while, whether she's imagining it or not, the book comes to life. And it depicts the hero in a bike race, and those guys after him, was either because he was winning the race, or just because they wanted to cheat, by knocking him out, so he wouldn't be in the race anymore. And in the end, he bangs the edges of the comic book panel, trying to in a sense, break free from that world. And they had beaten him, but he was also in rough shape from breaking through, I think. But in the end, when she looks at the book, he's finally made it into her world, and can be with her. And I'd like to think that after that, which we don't see in the video, they lived happily ever after. And yes, those of your guys who said it's a love story, is 100 % on point. And it's a great song too, and I would recommend buying either 'Headlines And Deadlines - The Hits Of A-ha', and there's another compilation album too, but the title escapes my mind right now. But both albums cover all the best songs from them, especially from when they were at their peak, in the 80's and 90's. Don't care too much for their newer stuff, but there is the occasional song I like, and particularly the song 'Lifelines' comes to mind. Maybe you could have the guys react to that, as it's a representation of the newer material? Just a suggestion, though. And thanks again for featuring the biggest thing to come out of my country, and keep up the good work, Adnan, my brother from another mother. 😊👍
@ahkkariq74067 ай бұрын
The other compilation album is simply named "25", on the occasion of 25 years since the first album were released. The double album came out the same year the band officially disbanded, 2010. They reunited in 2015, and unlike you, I also like the last two albums - as well as most of their other music.

I'm old now, but every time I hear this song it takes me back to those days of my youth. I'm the same age as the lead singer Morten Harket, so I don't find it strange that the band has moved on to newer and better things as they grow old. I'd be interested to know what all of the reviewers were doing in 1984? Are they still friends with the same people they hung out with at that time? Oh, and Michael Jackson was born 11 months before Morten Harket, so they are of a similar age.
