@@rapa2894 Yeah, Mexico and Spain share many foods, due to obvious cultural ties. I think Mexican churros have cinnamon though, but I'm not sure since I haven't tried them. In Spain, churros are eaten usually for breakfast, and they're also a hangover meal. Though they're more of a Sunday breakfast, it's not like people eat them every day. The most common Spanish breakfast nowadays is an espresso and something light, tbh. And it also depends on each region. Churros are very popular in Madrid, but not so much in other places like Barcelona. Same with tapas.

Why were the churros inconsistent across participants. A couple of them received really fat good looking ones vs. the skinny ones others got.

It would be extra helpful if there was a picture of the food they talk about from their homes on screen when they talk about it. It might be hard to do and the videos are great as they are. I just keep writing down what they talk about, pause the video, look up the food item, then play again.

I'd love to see a "controversial foods" episode where everyone decides if they either love or hate a bunch of love-or-hate foods like mayonnaise, licorice, olives, pineapple pizza, anchovies, etc.

To be honest you should give them pickle and fermented bean for Japanese breakfast. People do eat that fish in breakfast but it came in set with Miso soup and rice.
@JarodMoonchild19753 жыл бұрын
To be honest, I have a hard time understanding the peoples of this world, that eat what's essentially dinner foods for breakfast. Whether we're talking about the japanese like you described, or the english, with their eggs and bacon, sausages, beans, toast, and black (blood) pudding, for breakfast. But I can get behind a sandwich or toast, and maybe with egg and bacon. But to make it kinda like a full dinner, is weird to me. And dinner foods itself, eaten for breakfast. But normally, I usually eat some sandwiches, or if I'm feeling lazy, some cereal with milk, for my breakfast. And toast is great, but I hardly make it as often as when I was younger, these days. But I do make it occasionally. And my favourite bread toasted with coldcut chorizo (like chorizo in salami version) and cheese on top, is heavenly. And I'm a foodie, so I like all foods. But I can't do a dinner style breakfast, my stomach would go ballistic on me. Had 6 surgeries before I was just 1 years old, so I have a very sensitive stomach, unfortunately. But as long as I stick to what works for me, it's fine. But a dinner style (hot and savory meal) breakfast, is not one of those things, though.

@@JarodMoonchild1975 Well there's no natural categories for what's "dinner food" and what's "breakfast food". It all depends on the culture you were raised in

Omg they would never eat natto LOL
@Maki-003 жыл бұрын
@@JarodMoonchild1975 "Breakfast food" or "lunch food" depends on where you are from. There isn't some universal law that determine which is which! In the U.S., England, and Australia, eggs, bacon, and sausages ARE breakfast food! People in these countries usually don't eat these things for dinner, therefore these are not "dinner foods" in those countries.
