as an Italian American, calzone is just calzone. It is not pizza. Secondly, chicken is unusual on pizza or in a calzone, not typical. and finally, thanks for your videos. Love them all.

They are Muslim, so they can't eat sausage unless it's beef, chicken or turkey sausage, otherwise I agree - calzone is not pizza, it's just calzone.

To everyone commenting on chicken not normally being in calzones, you need to understand that these people don't eat pork, and beef is expensive. Chicken, lamb, mutton, etc is more obtainable for them.

I make mine with mushrooms, green peppers, onions, and cheese. Never use chicken! Sometimes I will use tomato sauce with beef in it.

Calzone is Italian so the final e is pronounced. Cal-zon-ay. The one you had was cut in half. The dough should be the same as for a pizza, but it has more filling and is folded in half and sealed around the edges.

most of them I mean since they don't eat pork but even here in the states they aren't hard to find. also you never heard of chicken pepperoni? lol most of the cheap pepperoni in the states is made with pork and chicken together.
