We have our county fair going on right now and they have the same type of potato on a stick. They're called spiral fries. They don't come with all of those sauces drizzled on them, but you can get ketchup, ranch, garlic parmesan, honey mustard, etc. on the side for dipping. The potatoes are seasoned with the same spice mix that's used on curly fries. They're really delicious! We have tickets for tomorrow, but this makes me want to hop in the car and head to the fair right now! LOL

Arby's Roast Beef Sandwiches sells a simpler version of these called Curly Fries. They are smaller pieces with Chili Powder seasoning in cardboard sleeves like French Fries. Very yummy way to serve potatoes.

We have things like that in America. But mostly it's dressed with butter, salt, pepper, cheese sauce, or sour cream and onion dip. It can have spicy 'Tex Mex' seasoning as well. It's a 'fair food' that they serve at county or state fairs.

Some county fairs have them. Except not on a stick. Just put on a plate with hot cheese sauce on it. They call them grater taters here in the US. More like a combination potato chip and fried potatoes depending on how thick they are. And delicious too!

This way of preparing potatoes is called tortato in my home state of Idaho. It’s available to purchase at fairs and carnivals.

They have this at markets festivals but only with seasoning in.Australia Here call potato twist n,Never knew till now that some come with.sauce. I'll have to see in town where I live if there's place that does add sauce looks so extra yummy

Yeah we have potato twists too, at fairgrounds and at the seaside places in the UK. Easy to make at home if you have a deep fat fryer long enough. Luckily I bought a large one for frying the bigger pieces of battered fish, halved chickens and big donuts in so I make these too sometimes. I like grated cheese, garlic and herbs on mine, or sometimes just plain old salt and vinegar.
