Thats cool, my great grandmother use to bake chicken wings with black pepper, butter, cheese and hot sauce in the late 1800's. butchers threw away all the wings as they never sold them to people, only peasants would eat them same as lobster and shrimp. guess he was around 100 years late... 🤷‍♂️

It's made from Turkey. Like we can buy "Turkey Ham" and "Turkey Bacon", that's what they use. They still consider the consumption of swine product to be sacrilegious, and unhealthy. During the time of their religious writings, cooking and sanitation were FAR from a common practice, so many people got very ill or died from pork. Back then ANYTHING bad (even in Western religions) was considered ungodly. UNLIKE Western religions who's texts have been re-written over time eliminating some things as we learned more, the Koran remains in it's original version, hence the use of pork is STILL prohibited.

I've never had beef 'ham' before. They used to have a really good beef bacon here but the one now isn't very good. They also have turkey bacon but I haven't tried it. The veggie bacon isn't too bad, but you have to be careful how you cook it, as it burns in a heartbeat. I prefer pork bacon, but its very high in fat and sodium, so you shouldn't eat it very often.

Food is such a uniting thing. It's always a joy to see them comparing it to what is familiar and then tucking in with gusto. I've started looking up recipes for dishes they mention. So far I've made Biryani rice, dahl, a couple types of flat bread, stewed goat with eggplant and veggies in the crockpot (i don't remember the name, so maybe the gentlemen can help?), and pakora (fritters).

Those were not really "Sliders" those were some BIG meat sandwiches. If making a slider at home, I would recommend using dinner rolls, slice them in half along the sides and place a small (well seasoned) beef patty with some minced white onion, a dollop of ketchup and 2 thinly sliced pickles. A slider should be able to be eaten in two big bites.

The average cost of a funeral in the U.S. is between $ 7,000.00 too $ 12,000.00 U.S. dollars. And some funerals can get far more expensive. Just for a better understanding for you. I have found a currency converter. So the cost in RKP is between, 1,955,093.19 and 3,351,588.33. I am sorry too be the bearer of this bad news. My friend.
