The Nahuas are only a small percentage of the Mexican population, which means the MOST Mexicans are not of Aztec lineage but rather of Spanish descent or other races. I also believe that not all Nahuas are of Aztec descent. There's more people with direct lineage to the Aztecs other than the Nahuas, but only a small percentage. Just because you're in a tribe doesn't mean you have direct blood lineage to the founders of the Aztec society. I, for example, do have direct blood lineage to the Mexicas/Aztecs. They're in my DNA. It is quite a stretch to say Arsereth is America. ARZARETH ar'-za-reth, ar'-sareth (the King James Version, Arsareth): This is the land to which the ten tribes were deported (2 Esdras 13:45). It is described as "another land" lying a year and a half's journey beyond the river, i.e. the Euphrates. It probably answers to the Hebrew 'erets 'achereth (Deuteronomy 29:28). First the Olmecs, no one knows what happened to them, where they came from, but it is theorized they were absorbed by other cultures, then the Mayas. Depending where you look if in the peninsula Mexico or Guatemala the tribes have different haplogroups and blood type A B or O. Some of the mayas from El Salvador the pipiles, can be traced to the Aztecs according to DNA. The ones that drive interest in me are the purepechas/ tarascos from Michoacan (most their haplogroups are connected to the Anasazi ). Its important to study DNA as well as thats what validates most.
