Payal are other anklets that are lighter and can be worn casually or there are others that are worn during special occasions etc. These are common across the country coming in various designs and shapes and different communities can where different types of anklets. Usually the women wear but there are some which are for the men as well.

Kannan gill omg??? He is honestly one of my favorite comedians. Very uplifting. Ghungroos and payals.... i had to look it up cus im not from that area, are basically anklets indian dancers wear on on their ankles. It makes trickle like sounds.

Ghungroo is an Indian musical instrument worn around the ankles by dancers Its worn for doing kathak which is one type of dance that involves lots of legs and hand work And ghungroo is like small bell but they are like 20 or 30 small bells tied together like a breslet to ur both ankles
