We all like to think we’d be morally right in these situations, but until you’re in a situation like this you have no idea what you are capable of. I find this story to be more tragic and terrifying- obviously I can’t condone the actions of people doing heinous things but I also can’t sit here and say “oh I’d never” because girl I’d never end up on a squid ship anyway 💀

36:08- nope. I dont mind some boats, houseboats, rafts, speedboat...but i dont like the big ones. I could probably do a small yacht, but i cant be out of sight of land no matter what type of boat it is it scares me & i feel disoriented. Not to mention i often get motion sickness. I'd get too discombobulated. I'd also go stir crazy/get cabin fever & not do well overall. Even for a lot of $$ (& im poor with my trailer literally breaking in half with water leaks galore & no where to go!) and I'd still nope tf out! Lol 💜 Eta: -41:32 that was really adorable when you said in an amazed way "pirates...still exist?" Yes, yes they do. Somali pirates are really scary. Have you see or heard of that movie where tom hanks plays a sea captain of a boat, and somoli pirates hijacked it with the classic line by head pirate in charge: "*I'M THE CAPTAIN NOW!!!* Yeah that's based on a true story !

BRUH this whole thing felt like a surreal nightmare I cannot IMAGINE being in this situation and honestly If I did I'd be doing the same thing Zach did. At that point survival is the main prioritiy. This was so crazy bro and all cus of the greed of one fishing company
