So many of Naomi's songs, including many with Maverick City Music, have been what I've listened to as I'm praying to God for guidance in building More Than An Admin.

Thank you for being authentic and transparent in expressing HOW THE SAUSAGE IS MADE. Behind the scenes is not always pristine and pretty. The Christian space always like to mask and coverup this side and just show the pretty, holy and safe side. This is more of an example how God still use us for his glory even in our imperfections and humanity ( our work in processes).

I have seen what happened with Maverick happen in church splits, campus ministries and music collectives. The reality is we have an ENEMY. And if that enemy can get us to function from self, it often can cost the WHOLE collective. It’s Joshua 7 with Achan and Israel. Self is the antithesis of Christ’s way and it can kill a move of God in an INSTANT. That being said - Maverick. PLEASE heal. PLEASE do a Volume 4. May God fix every broken relationship and system that tried to stop the move of God. May Maverick HEAL in Jesus’ Name.

Naomi is right about aaron!! Aaron has played a VERY huge part in the sound of what we know today as Maverick city. He has inspired me as a keyplayer and many others. I pray that his work may be HIGHLY rewarded in heaven in Jesus name🙏🏾🙏🏾Aaron Moses God bless you

Money changes the dynamics of situations. Again, I love the vulnerability and honesty of y'all's podcast. I love how Naomi spoke for the past members of Mav. I agree that Aaron Moses and many others were hidden gems. Theres something about the older songs and their authenticity that hit different. I still appreciate the evolution of the current group, but I hope one day there can be a "reconciliation" if that is the right term. Keep growing! This generation needs yall so bad. 🤎

Whose coming up next! I've loved what you're doing with the podcast. No more speculation. And i think despite all the growing pains and/or departurea no one can take away the impact Maverick has had on the world and for the gospel. Unfortunately the everyday person or christian won't fully understand what goes into creating a worship group collective. Well done and i hope the evolution of Maverick city continues. Would love to see the OGs return with some younger upcoming newbies ❤

My prayer for Maverick is that the Lord restores the group. It maybe now or in 20 years when everyone is older BUT GOD IS STILL GOOD AND HIS TIME IS PERFECT… what the enemy meant for evil God will turn it around for his good
@ruffyg53942 күн бұрын
I really enjoyed this conversation. I love Naomi, period. About your collab with Glorilla and stuff, your logic doesn't add up. You cannot use the "devil's tool" to save souls. So Glorilla singings gospel today and goes back to singing about nonsense tomorrow. What happens then to the people you're trying to reach? God knows how to reach the lost. There are none christains who listen to gospel music. It's a conflict of interest.

The Church is unlikely to take the time to listen to this, and that’s where the real issue lies. They don't like to engage with the discussion or the message itself
