Iam considering the og Oracle because of the tuning, so the slam is fine, if not great and some mentioned wispiness in the treble...but I still think I should go for it 🙋♂️👍

@@BadGuyGoodAudioReviews Hey! Got it today and I am already sending back. It's a good IEM, that's for sure, but it's not exactly what I was expecting. And my point is, is this IEM 4 or 5 X better than a 150-200US$ IEM? My conclusion is NO. They're not. I think EST is a great improvement, but these companies are charging too much for that. We, as costumers, need to hold back a bit, otherwise they're gonna keep raising the prices...

I love the specific artist recs for each profile, it really helped me to picture where the sub-bass/mid-bass would be with the Variations for example. I've used "When the Levee Breaks" as a bass test since I started getting into headphones at all, it was a real "kick" to see that overlap in choice when I started following your videos! Impressively small amount of time on each one, but covered everything. Great round-up!

P.s I really like the moondrop cable for the ease of switching between 2.5/3.5/4.4, the Dunu is the king of that I guess but at 3-4x the price.

Yes, for acoustic female vocal, get the Variatons, don't get your hope too high, it's no where the quality of the Dunu cables, you will be dissapointed.

Great review! I'm on the market for a new IEM (upgrading from my SE 215) and I'm a bit torn between the Variations, Oracle and S8. I listen to very different music, from EDM to Rock/Prog Rock/Metal, Pop, Jazz, Hip-Hop... I can get the Variations for about 380€, the S8 for 500€ and the Oracle for 540€ (plus customs taxes). Which would you pick? Thanks!

No, Beryllium works. The bass is fast but may be too much for some. ot slow or wooly though.

please help me.....i'm so close to make my purchase between Moondrop Variations and Thieaudio Monarch......i have 2 issues......since im from Asia....India but not indian watever Asian.....i cant test them out my own 1.Bass.....is the original monarch $730 better than variation? like punch, thumpy and rumble like vibration likewise? and how deep it is comparing from the variation sub-bass.......i have stream so many video of those 2......but idk wats the best in both 2. soundstage how wide it is.....is it better than variations.......like back and front of head.....how tall.....is it better or.....please i hope i can get a specific end game full result and honest one please help me.....im bout to make my purchase soon btw! and is the monarch fast.....i hope the monarch is better....if the soundstage is more clustrophobic i sacrifice for variations i also wana know is it fast.......i know about the mid and treble both iems im fine with those....and where the store for monarch plz tel me💜🙏😢

7hz Timeless smokes both for imaging and sound stage. Tribrids are "ok" for that. You should focus elsewhere for these. I own the variations but it's NOWHERE near as vast as a planar.

I find the the spin fit super comfy but for me the bass is a little rolled back compared to the large Zanari foam tips. Tried a few with the Oracle. Like the memory foam the best.

Ha ha. The variations that everyone talks about it, has less mid bass than mids. That's like trying to follow a guitar with the bass guitar,and ops. There is no bass guitar. Its like legacy 2, the mid bass is gone.
