A few notes: - Duviri is a second start to the game, so that is why you are treated as a newbie. - Duviri Steel Path being different from the normal version made me sooo happy, and I can't even put a finger on it why. - Incarnon Genesis is the best system since... since... maybe ever? They reward you for being in the late game, and reinvigorate old weapons! - Duviri is one of the nicest open worlds we have. No time gates, no reputation gates and intrinsics are well done as well - you get them just by playing.

Gun Drifter can actually be really viable. Like, you can one-shot entire groups of enemies if you have all the levels of Bombastine's Malice.

I didn't even bother with the melee mods the first several runs because I was spoiled by too much time practicing Sirocco's perfect reload + the after-reload dmg boost decree + being a compulsive reloader

Yeah, can confirm as well, leaning towards Gun Drifter is absolutely a way to go if a person chooses. But I think that's the nice thing about the Decrees. It can be easier to focus on melee during Duviri runs, as dispatching most melee enemies on the landscape will be easier. However, since a big portion of the Orowyrm fight in the arena takes place at range, you're limiting yourself slightly at that stage if too much emphasis is placed on melee.

@@RedShadowOfSaturn That's for speeeruns but most of the time you need more than enough resources to just get overpowering amounts of decrees anyways. It's easy to just pick the quick combat oriented missions and skip puzzle tables amd shawzin.

I love how broken the 10% movement increase per decree is. You'll eventually go so fast you won't need your Kaith for ground movement and summoning the Kaith can fling you due to your speed too

Oh yeah, I just had an absolutely biblical run with Titania in the Steel Circuit, it was so much fun and I made good progress... until the game decided to soft lock me in the third wave of a defense mission :(

@@LePeppino I had one where I got Yareli, and the Pandero Prime. It was going good, until I decided that I needed some energy. So I swapped to Operator, and dropped a Zenurik bubble. Yareli dissapeared. I couldn't swap back to Warframe. She was gone. Even looked at my loadout in the pause menu, game thinks I have no Warframe or weapons. We were only on Zone 2, I was so pissed. Because nothing brought my stuff back, had to struggle until I could extract.

Gun oriented decrees can still have some relevance as drifter. You can spam drifter pistol on the horse, so I like mounting up on it and gunning down the dax enemies that way.

As a founder myself, I was over the moon that they gave me my Excal Prime instead of Umbra. I have way more investment in Prime because I legitimately consider him to be superior to Umbra in a few ways that matter pretty much exclusively to me: he does not shed ally buffs when you use operator like Umbra; he does not have specter AI causing him to do dumb things like walk into nullifier bubbles or get knocked off cliffs into teleport volumes forcing me to suffer screen blackout and teleport fuckery; and as of recently, he does not BURN MY FUCKING AMMO WHILE I'M RESURRECTING ALLIES OR HACKING.

most of the bugs you'll encounter in Circuit happen due to poor connection and/or host migration. Hotfixes have been rolling out regularly but it's still a persistent issue that i don't forsee leaving anytime soon. as for the Cave, you're correct. when rolling its random kit, the cave will always default to the "strongest" variant of a weapon or Frame that you have. i believe the tierlist goes... Kuva/Tenet Prime Cosmetic (Wraith, Vandal, etc) Syndicate Base so if you have a frame AND its prime, you will always be given its Prime. Additionally, it will always default to the loadout with the most mod drain. you can select mod sets if you've created them, but the one it will choose first is the one with the most cumulative drain. otherwise, if you don't own the item, don't have it modded, or its mod drain doesn't exceed that of the default set, you will be given said default.

this also means that if you have multiples of a weapon, i.e. braton prime and vandal, or rakta cernos and cernos prime, you will ONLY receive the highest tier. you cannot receive lower tier variants so long as the higher tier exists in your inventory at all ever.

Don’t think this true at all, if it was a connection thing then these bugs wouldn’t be so exclusive to duviri, I think the update was just really poorly optimized and wasn’t really tested. On last gen it was unplayable for the first 2 weeks cuz void dragon would just crash old consoles. And that’s not even mentioning all the soft and hardlock bugs it has.

My only issue with exalted weapons in Duviri is that they match your frame config. Spent a lot of time trying to figure out why Titania's weapons felt unmodded before I realized config B is my main combat setup, and the one I use in Duviri, and I only have one config slot modded for her weapons, that being A.

I honestly really like Incarnons. Paris Prime is currently on my list with the rotation at the time of posting. Though, I do hope that further incarnons we get are for weapons that cannot/will not receive a new variant. I.E. if it's popular enough to where it could get a kuva/tenet or primed variant, I'd like it to not get an incarnon. Wraiths, Prisma's, and Vandals are probably okay to leave out of this category though. Seeing as the three are supposed to be slight upgrades instead of huge upgrades or changes like Tenets, Kuvas, and Primes

you can tell what weapons and warframes you have in the mission before doing the circuit looking at the exal head and weapon tab under the spiral tab

I don't know if you were already aware, or if anyone else already mentioned it in the comments, but the reason this has so many things that seem for newbies is because it was made accessible at the beginning. If you were to start Warframe for the first time, you can choose the Warframe path and have the option to do Duviri after finishing Vor's Prize, or you can start with Duviri then do the other stuff after you complete Duviri's main story. So you can go to either one at the very beginning and move to the other pretty early on. Edit: I don't know if it is brought up later in the video either, as I made the comment just after the movement tutorial.

The main thing that I didn't know how to feel about from the update was the Orowyrm fight. On one hand, if DE made each worm different, people are gonna complain with "x fight is more boring than y" (and also, designing a new fight for each mood would consume a lot of development resources and time). On the other hand, they could've at least implemented a small spin on the worms' moveset depending on the mood spiral, like a couple of moves being exclusive to the current mood.

I've been enjoying it too, and I'm looking forward to finishing farming the new warframe, but i honestly cant get behind the drifter melee. maybe it's because im still stuck using sun & moon, but attacking is GLACIALLY slow, and the long animations make it really difficult to time blocks and parries, especially since the dax seem to attack just the tiniest bit quicker than me. if i pause to block, they just dont do anything. i've yet to successfully block or parry an attack mid-combat in regular gameplay :/ but maybe im just bad, idk.

I hope they adjust the Parry timing to be much quicker, as currently there's a slight delay from when you press the button to block/Parry and it actually does it, and so if you want to actually use the mechanic you tend to forego attacking to wait for a parry, it engenders passivity. It'd be nice if at least you could animation cancel from an attack to a parry/block at the least. That's my only issue with Duviri so far, beyond that I've had a blast with it.
