I think the problem with the look a like is when they do pranks and make fans believe that they are the real artists which I don't like. The only fans content as a celebrity look a like is crossing the line too. I don't know I just wonder sometimes if they entire job is to be that person I wonder if sometimes they can lose themselves and get the lines blurry between the personality of the celebrity and their own personality. And I also wonder how far that job they will last, is the public will always pay attention to them or eventually loss interest and what they will do after. I think the tributrs are fine but the look a like tiktok people makes me more worried. Great video.

I think there’s a whole different perspective on this topic when it comes to drag artists. Drag and ‘female impersonation’ was and is such a big part of drag culture - and most of it comes from a lot of reverence

Ugh, as a swiftie that Ashley girl has been an annoyance to the fandom. Like literally the swiftie community im in hates her because of all the bs she claims that she doesn’t go out of her way to look and act like Taylor. What a liar lol if you see what she looked like before, she doesnt look like Taylor at all, so clearly there are some plastic surgery that has been done on her face. Also, you didnt mention in the video how one time Ashley dressed up like Taylor and went out on public and had some guys act as her bodyguards. if you ever consider looking deeper into this topic, there was a time in 2020 lockdown where there was a lookalike for Jennie from blackpink. people were following her, commenting on her posts, liking her photos and whatnot. but then it came forward that this person had completely faked the whole thing, and they were actually stealing photos from someone else and editing them to look like Jennie. they would caption posts with things like, “Please stop hating me, this is just my face. I love Jennie too but I’m not trying to be her.” but it was a fake persona with edited photos the whole time 😭

​@SVG1575 long ago o Tumblr, someone made a post of taylor swift in 2006 with straight hair (back when she was know for her big curls) and made a joke post about how her name was Becky and she died or something, and someone reblogged asking if the picture was taylor, and the OP said no it's Becky. taylor was seen years later in a yellow tshirt that said 'no, it's becky.' as well, showing she was chronically on Tumblr with us 🤣🤣🤣
