When I saw the post credit scenes to Black Adam and when I saw Henry Cavill wear the 2013 suit I was ecstatic to know that he finally wore it after wearing not wearing it for the last 10 years. And then come to find out the failure of Black Adam and the subsequent reboot of the DC Universe movies made Henry Cavill quit the role as Superman for good. And I was sadden by that.

Alright, tears. He was the best of my lifetime and I was a child who watched the TV show with George Reeves and read the comics until my mother raised fuss and put down her foot. There was never a better. I liked Christopher Reeve but Henry brought Superman alive in a very special way. You will never see this, Mr Cavill, but you made this old woman's heart, sing. I felt young again and loved how you portrayed Superman!

Warner Bros. doesn't deserve to have the rights to Superman and DC. It does not respect the octogenarian legacy of Superman and DC. Another company would have produced at least 8 films with Henry Cavill as Superman, in addition to releasing necessary films of Green Lantern, Green Arrow, The Flash, Cyborg, Martian Manhunter, Lex Luthor, Darkseid, etc. Let the next actor who characterizes Superman understand what that honor means and do it with respect... When I was 10 my dad wanted me to to get into Superman at first he was thinking about me watching the Christopher reeve movies but then he saw the man of steel trailer and decided right then and there that is how I would be introduced into DC and watching man of steel in theaters for the first time will forever be in my top 3 best memories ever we then watched bvs at a outside drive-in movie theater but then a few months after that my dad passed away in a car wreck and i never got the chance to watch the synder cut of justice league with him and now that Henry Cavill is fired from being Superman it just feels like a massive part of my childhood just died because I don't think I will ever watch a Superman movie ever again because it will never compare to what I had when my dad was alive.

It makes me upset that people accuse Snyder of not getting or understanding Superman. If his Superman is not for you then it's not for you.
