My father worked at Sealield and so did I and so did two of my sisters husbands A miner saved me from the jaws of death by diving across the path of a train and slamming us both up against the wall. The loco swept past us with only inches to spare. I`ve had many jobs since the pits shut but never found the comradeship that existed in the pits.

Which mine was it where the men were travelling in the mine vehicles with the breathing apparatus on. PS My father had worked at the Michael Colliery. I wish I could have asked him since watching this film.
