@@swatisaini6447 yes astrology is a legit practice and it gives accurate results but you need someone who has full accurate knowledge of that subject to predict anything ,and those people are very rare , most of the "astrologers" either have no knowledge of the subject or they only know few things , which isn't enough to predict anything. My grandmother can actually do that , but even she can't predict everything but yes she can tell you few things about your future based on your kundli , when my father wasn't married , my grandfather choosed a girl for him , but upon seeing her kundli my grandmother rejected the marriage , she said that her kundli has a "dosh/ defect" which will lead to the death of her husband within a year of her marriage , so they rejected her , and my grandmother's prediction did came true , the guy who married her eventually died within one year of her marriage .

@Richa Verma While it's true whatever you said, it's time to reflect on the present. Our ancestors were great - that's true. But if we do nothing and sit around just taking pride in what they did - our descendants won't say they same about us. Let's make sure we can keep the legacy going. At this point of time, the western world has overtaken us. No point denying that. If we really want Indians back on the map, we need to show achievements NOW. Just an analogy - West Indies cricket team was the most feared back in the 70s, but now look at them. Their older generation players were flawless, sure.. But they're judged by their current performance today.

I come from a East Bengali family whom moved to Kolkata in 1930s. I would like to introduce you to my lovely city and cinematic history it has nested through decades of great artistry. Three films that I would recommend are below. The reason I haven't mentioned masterpiece Pather Panchali and Meghe Dakha Tara in the list because either you've seen them or has been exposed with trailer. 1. 1957 Kabuliwala. This cinema has captured and mesmerized minds of thousands of people. A true classic. Based on story by Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, additional writing by Premendra Mitra, a stalwart Bengali writer and directed by legendary Tapan Sinha. 2. Subarnarekha released 1965 by legendary Ritwick Ghatak. 3. 1973 film Padatik by another legendary Mrinal Sen. Wish Korbin's little one and Rick's children much love and fondness. Regards, A stupid Bengali baby.

I really too hope the movie does her justice because Vidya Balan is a genius actress..the question is, is the writing and directing up to par? Shakuntala Devi deserves it. She really does. The last thing she deserves is a over the top fluff based on her life and achievements.

It's great to see that world is getting to know the gifts some of the Indians ate blessed with. It will be a great pleasure if you would see anything about Indian Mathematician Ramanujan who had no academic education. ❤️ You would be amazed to see and hear about it.

I had the opportunity to train under her for 1 week. my mom who happens to be a masters in math signed me up for her workshop. trust me I hated math before that 1 week.

Now that he has mentioned Ramanujan and compared her to him, I would request you to watch the movie "The Man who knew Infinity". It's a great film with two great performances by Dev Patel and Jeremy Irons. Toby Jones is also great as a supporting character.

Movie on Her does not justify her, ⬆Bolllywood once again, created radiculos movie, They have once again turned an great Story of Human calulater "Shakuntala Devi" into Family Drama. They have shown B grade drama for an amazing personality, who was a Great math Genius, A great Astrologer. They bring her personality to the surface level.
