Kam, honor her first with the ring and marital vows , you say she is your queen, then be a king and step up. A baby should not be your driver to marry Tricia or serve as the glue that binds you together, but rather your love and desire to share your lives with each other. I know the trend is to have baby first and then get marry but why? I have been married to my life partner, best friend, lover, confidant for 28 years and we have grown closer through the birth of our sons and the challenges of raising them as an iinternational, mixed faith, interracial couple. My first son was born four years after our marriage and the others followed. I can not imagine my life without her and my sons. Marriage before birth is not twisted nor is it a cardinal sin. My sons know that their birth was deliberate and not why we married but rather our love. Marriage is a celebration and commitment to be there for each other. Marriage certificates can be shredded, burn, or otherwise destroyed but the vow you make to each other and God that binds your life together , if you allow it to be. Lastly if you marry afer your child id born there will always be a sliver of doubt as to why you agreed to marry each other.

I agree with you. When young couples rush to have babies or move in together or rush to get married.The relationship does not tend to last. Unfortunately Kam has no desire to marry Tricia as he was not raised to value marriage. Why would he marry her if he gets all of the perks? Tricia is usually the one that talks about marriage and rings and Kam only talks about babies and having baby fever. They are both not compatible for marriage unless Kam is willing to mature at a faster rate.
