For December 18th 1947, we want to add the five parts as follows : (6 + 18 + 47 + 0 + 11) = 82 therefore we have to divide 82 with 7 we get 11 but we have to divide until single digit so 11÷7 = 1 which means "Sunday" But it's wrong can you please explain why sir?

you have to take reminder after deviding by 7 : 82/7...reminder is 82-11x7= 5 ...so reminder is not 1 as you calculated but it is 5
