I’ll tell you one I did to my Kubota, don’t remember the size except it was 20 hp, hydrostatic w/loader. A man bought it new $17,000, one year old 80 hrs l gave $9,000. He used it to clean 2 story chicken houses. He put the wide turf tires on the rear and they mount with a compressed aluminum sleeve which with the wide tire only goes on half way and comes loose in 5-6 hrs. I bought the tractor to use at our mountain home that we were building. Something had to give plus I knew wider tires in the mts would be better. Machinist by trade I made a 12” extension to weld on each side (much to long). Now the tire fits perfectly doesn’t come loose anymore and made the tractor much more stable. Only moved them out 4” but it looks and worked great. They should make the axles 3-4” longer, wouldn’t cost any more, maybe a dollar. Let’s do another.

I love the dual rear tyres with the wheel spacers. The only thing I'd be concerned about is the added stress on the transmission, rear wheel bearings, axle and differential.

Waiting for the green L.E.D. under the frame turning the snow green. Lol. I finally got my 72" x 3ft high snow pusher! I shot a video of it. I loooove my snow pusher! There is a guy with a 1025r rockin a 72", but he admits over 5" and he's d.o.a. I think a HLA 72" might not be too bad on a 1025r because of its lower height. It can only load up so much snow with that full top back drag. My video shows a 5ft high X 20ft pile being pushed without a wheel spinning, wet heavy 32 degree snow. It got me thinking how a back drag across the top would interfere with a large pile?

I know this is a year late, but were going into winter soon again. You gave me a hell of an idea. They sell the heating elements for heated seats on Amazon. Wiring it in would be easy enough. Thank you.

My 2014 1025r headlights don't use those headlights. They use the same bulbs as the fender lights. Something you missed when you say those bulbs are for all years of 1025r tractors. They are not. My headlights are like the older 3032e's pre 2010 that you show in your other video. So I guess Deere changed the headlight bulbs either during or after the 2014 model year. I recently replaced my halogen headlights with new bulbs from Amazon Sylvania 886 Basic Halogen bulbs. I guess the 881's would be the LED replacement.

Unrelated to the video but need help with a JD 3038e. Was coming up a kinda steep hill at an angle the other day, and all the sudden my tractor stalled. It only has 70 hours on it. I turned the key off, and turned the key back on, and the engine warning light came on and was blinking red, but no code or message on dash. I was able to slowly roll the tractor back down the hill to the flat, and waited about 15 min, and was able to get the tractor started again, and get it back to the garage. But ever since then, when I turn the key to start the tractor, that same warning light comes on while the tractor is off and blinks. It shuts off once the tractor starts and i get no other warnings or indicators. The oil level appears to be full, on a cold engine, on a flat surface. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I use JD’s 54” front snow blade on my 1026R. I bought 9” metal extensions that bolt to either side of the snow blade. I also saw a few video where people added 12” wide “rubber mud flaps” to their plows (like on diesel tractor trailers) so I added those to the metal extensions. I’m now plowing 9 foot wide paths with 1025R. Six inch snow falls are no problems with the blade angled! The rubber mud flaps are mounted about a 1/2” higher than the plow’s metal extensions and are basically for diverting the plowed snow off to the sides more. Another advantage of the rubber mud flaps is they bend a little without breaking so I can trim around raised cement curbing and landscaping, mail boxes, etc. without damaging anything! I’d highly recommend the rubber mud flaps and the metal extensions for the 54” JD front plow! I drive up within an inch of garage doors, lower the snow blade and back up about 6 feet, then turn around and push the pile away. No shoveling ever!
