Welcome to my full walkthrough of "Riven: The Sequel to Myst," a captivating puzzle-solving, point-and-click, first-person exploration game developed by Cyan. In this "amnesia run," I'm playing the new real-time, fully-3D remake, released on June 25, 2024. This version features stunning updated graphics, improved controls, enhanced puzzles, and VR support.
Continuing the story from 1993's "Myst," I once again control "the Stranger," who must assist Atrus, an artisan and explorer, in rescuing his wife Catherine from the clutches of Gehn, Atrus's manipulative father and ruler of Riven: a beautiful world of interconnected islands. To save Catherine and return safely, I'll need to unravel the intricate mysteries of Riven, learn about its inhabitants, and confront the power-hungry Gehn. Who's telling the truth? What does that switch do? How do I open this door? Join me on this let's play to uncover all the answers!
Originally released by Cyan on October 31, 1997, "Riven" garnered critical acclaim and became the best-selling game of the year. Unlike its predecessor, this follow-up offers a more directionless approach to its puzzles and storytelling, but rewards with its expansive world building, deep lore, and gorgeous design. What I love about this version is that it seems that each game is random. So none of your puzzles have been the same in my version.

Anna is Gehn's mom (Atrus's grandmother) and is human, and how humans as a whole first got involved with the whole plot of Myst. She discovered them all below the surface. We've never seen her face or voice until now, previously she was only known as the protagonist in the novels. The guy in the imager was his father (those recordings are quite old), and the initial girl speaking D'ni was Gehn's wife (Atrus's mom)

Okay 5 sounds from the start i thought it might have been 4 at first as well I thought they might have used it as a code maker 4 5 5 and people thinking they miss counted and 1 more number luckily not the case

3rd line starts i want then i cant read one section (you got the first and second line) So it seems to say i want my salvation to the love my habmassee mee I guessed the longazz name No idea what it means other then shes trapped and no idea who that long name belongs to The somethings i cant read but youtube got a zoom in feature i used to get that i doubt useful but still something Without you going over it like you did i wouldnt have gotten that much

Was that painting of ana and her wanting hab and then she appologized to gehn because she feels like she somehow betrayed him The words written got written by some female and it might have been ana the one you summoned with the code Probably useless information but these people got trapped there somehow and it looks like the motive gehn for ana to keep ana for himself eventhough she wanted another man

OMG you got the most lame combination to the elevator ever. It's 5 of the same noise, which has to be like 1 in a million chance (it's a different combo for each player/each game).
