This video was very easy to follow, make arrangements on my Sena Calvary Half Helmet. I was so excited when someone called me, hit the middle button, phone came through. I was able to set up my GPS on my phone needed for our motorcycle trips since cannot get a good gps update for my 2012 Goldwing.

Thanks for the tips! Can y'all do a troubleshooting video? We are on our first long ride together and purchased our 20s about 6 weeks ago to make sure we didn't have any problems. Day 2 of our long trip our intercoms starts having problems. I can hear my husband but he can't hear me (yes, might be a blessing for him!). Someone on the community page helped me delete the pairing and start over. Worked but now there's big time static. How do we get rid of that?

Just bought the SENA SMH10 , because apparently that is the only one that perfectly fits into my BELL QUALIFIER DLX, but only after buying an additional adapter. My question is,,, is there any way,, to add bass/mid to these speakers? I have already tweaked the adjustments in my phone settings, which helped a little,,, still 99% treble through these speakers. Once two helmets are paired, and the intercom communications established, do you have to reset/stablish the intercom every time? Or is that only if you turn off both headsets?

great video and very helpful, how do I "cast" music to another intercom on the SRL 2 Neotech unit? I am also having a lot of problems linking MyTriumph TFT Bluetooth and phone with the Sena unit, invariably the Sena unit locks up and the only way to reset it is to allow the battery to run out of charge and the go through the reset procedure. Question... I have xm on my HD, I have the sena freewire on my bike, my phone is paired to my bike and the freewire is paired to my 30k, my buddy has the calvery helmet, now my question, can I share xm radio with him while still having intercom operating? .. or can you only share music with the phone paired directly to the comm unit? The only way we seem to be able to listen to music while we are taking is to run our music out of the fairing speakers, and talk with the intercom but with that setup we hear each others music in the comm speakers which is not good at all. Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciate. Thank you.

Can you pair via Bluetooth the sena 10c pro/evo camera with the sena momentum INC and use the microphone already in the helmet to record audio so you dont have to remount the microphone and speakers? I don't want to get the helmet with the camera integrated because the quality of video with image stabilization on the dedicated camera mounted on the helmet appears superior.

Both 20S with 2.0, #1 is paired to the phone. When #1 and #2 are in intercom mode we communicate fine. But, when #1 activates music sharing both can hear music but neither can hear the other talk. #1 still has side tone when trying talking but #2 can't hear me. Any ideas?

I bought a cheap helmet intercom for my sons helmet to pair with my 10C pro when he is riding pillion. Pretty much cheap and cheerful thing. Do I have to pair using the Universal setting, and how do I share music with him? I've also tried to have music on, and talk to him but this doesn't seem to work either?

I have a 20S EVO. I get lots of wind noise as a rider, from my passenger over the intercom. How do I get rid of that? We use open face helmets so the mics are very sensitive to wind noise. I am a former Harley rider and their Boom intercom system was awesome. No wind noise whatsoever. Will Sena get to that point someday?

How come I can sometimes group intercom with my smh5. But never can do it on demand? My group has 2 smh10’s. And 2 smh5’s. Sometime w all link if we try. Try. Try. but never links up on demand like the video.

I have the 10c Pro on my helmet and the Prism on my bike. If my 10c pro is paired with the Prism, I'm having trouble simultaneously pairing it with my phone, or visa versa, if its paired with my phone, it doesn't want to pair with the Prism. Any tips on how to connect with both?

Agree - GF and I love our PI's when we cycle, but they're a little tricky to deal with since manual and online info is often out of date, unclear, or just doesn't work. E.g. the older Utility app has been replaced by the Cycle app, but nothing makes that clear! The old app just mostly crashes. Doesn't help that there are WAY too many apps by Sena.

I have a sena 20s evo like my wife and when I connect to my wife's Sena via intercom it works fine.. The only issue i have is when I'm playing music I can't hear her talk. It only mutes the music when I talk not her. Is this normal or is there a way to change it so when she talks the music will cut off? Thanks in advance.

Can you make a video that details the "Media Selective Pairing" connection option? I've used this in the past to avoid conflicts when seeing up a GPS-headset- phone connection. I haven't been able to find a video by anyone, anywhere, showing how it is supposed to work.

hi, when me and my Girlfriend tries to pair our 20S Eva Dual, we do what your showing us but there is not coning any sound at all no bleps nothing so we never know if we do it right or not. so i was wondring will it blep automaticly when you start them up for the first time or do you need to turn up volum or any thing sound related ?

I’ve been able to pair 4 20s Evos together. But unsuccessful at adding a 20s as a 5th headset to the group. I know I should be able to pair 8 headsets together. Can I use this method for all 5 devices?

Great instructional video, and much easier to understand than the quick sheet. One problem I have had is when I push the phone button for Siri, the volume of Siri is deafening, while all other (music, mesh conversations) are normal. Any thoughts? Thanks.

@sena If two helmets are connected and I'm just chatting to myself does the other poor person hear me talking to myself or does a button have to be pressed before communicating with the other paired helmet; are these things live all the time? I don't know about the rest of you but I sometimes sing inside my helmet and don't think my friends want their ride disturbed by that :-)

If the detector is Bluetooth enabled yes you can pair it to the 30K. Or use a Bluetooth adapter like the Sena SM10 to broadcast from the detector to your headset. SM10 here: www.sena.com/product/sm10/

Dear Sena, I have just purchased the SRL system. A small word of advice, there is no way you can use this three button system with wearing gloves, it's just far too fiddly. You cannot feel what you're doing in order to find the right button. I'm sure it all works very well sitting in a lab somewhere without gloves on. I would suggest that Senna makes a Bluetooth product with only one button, an on and off button and the whole system be totally voice activated. It's incredibly dangerous to take your hands off the motorcycle handlebars and try to find and fiddle with buttons you can feel. In your next firmware update please please please please include a voice activated volume control, as this would make life so much easier than trying to fiddle with a button you just can't feel. Tarantulas Try wearing thick winter motorcycle gloves and see how far you get using SLR !!!. All I'm saying is, as Sena and Shoei got together to produce this product they've missed an opportunity to make this helmet and com system outstanding. PS the VOX function doesn't work too.

@@markjenkins905 The SRL is voice activated, just not as advanced as the 30K. Try saying "Hello Seena", and not "Hello Senna". Seena is the correct pronunciation, and more likely to be recognized by the headset.

I think I am being misled, if I am not using Mesh on my 30k, for some reason I can not hear my Phones music! it says its playing, but when I am talking it just stops! the problem is with this is that Bluetooth comunication is so much better on battery then Mesh, yes not as convent, but not as useful? why is this happening?!

Both my Sena 20 and Sena 20S EVO will not to connect to my new Samsung 20S FE. They worked on my Samsung 9 so not sure why they won't pair now and a newer phone.

Good video. So when pairing, is it everyone hears and speaks to each other or just the set you paired with. So for instance, with 3 riders, rider A,B and C. A pairs with B, B pairs with C..... does A have to also pair with C?

After I purchased 2 smh5 headsets for my 2 sons full helmets, and I purchased 1 SPH10 to use with my half helmet, I am finding that the two models are not compliant with each other. Hi. You can enable the Audio Multitasking feature on the 10C through the Sena Device Manager for Windows and Mac computers or through the Sena Utility App for iPhone or Android phone to allow you to listen to music and talk over the intercom at the same time. Thanks.

I have an iphone 6S and it pairs just fine with my 20S. Originally when I bought the Sena 2 years ago (and with previous smh10) when I heard the tone indicating a new message was on the phone i could hold the phone button down on the sena for a couple seconds and then request siri to read my messages and could dictate a reply. A couple months ago, this changed and now when I ask siri to read messages it replies "you have to unlock your phone first" which is nearly impossible do when riding. Is there a setting that needs to be changed so I can receive messages all the time? I am currently using OS 14.4.2

Looks great, I just wish I could use mine. It shows up in BT but it won’t pair at all. I’ve spent over an hour trying and the thing won’t even factory reset! I’m never buying a Sena product again, I’d rather use my AirPods than the pain of trying all that again! At least I can rely on them to do as advertised. Connecting to a phone is BT basics 101, how do you design a product so poorly that it has so much trouble even doing that!

You can't. You have to turn off the headset and restart it.

Make sure the volume is up on the phone as well as the headset.
