Just purchased these. Trying to pair but having difficulty. I just realized I missed the step of pressing the center button on one helmet once they were blinking red. Going to try again now. Hopefully this is what I was doing wrong. Thanks for the video.

I had the 'same question'. And I tried it both ways, pushing the center button on just one (1) helmet, and pushing the center button on two (2) helmets and I still can't get it to Pair. The guy in the video needs to be 'more specific'. Regardless, it looks like they're not answering you back on here.

Hello! When initiating the pairing of two helmets, you will hold the middle button down to enter pairing mode on both SENA R1 helmets. Then, you will need to click the center button once, on one of the helmets, to pair!

I have successfully connected two helmets, however, we continue to get a slight delay (echo) while speaking on one of the helmets. We have distanced ourselves and the delay continues, only on the one helmet. I did a factory reset and reconnected, the problem still exists. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Great explanation. Sena does not do a good job of explaining the difference between initial pairing and subsequent pairing. Turn the helmets on, push the pairing button, done.

It could be 6-7 seconds. Just hold down center button until you hear the beeps and the words intercom pairing. Both helmets then press the center button on one. Paired.

@kingsley foo you may want to turn the helmets off, and charge them, then try the process again, we have found this to help sometimes!

Make sure both helmets are fully charged and both helmets are in "intercom mode"

One of my helmets has an extremely low volume even on full charge and volume all the way up. Has anyone had this issue and know how to fix it?

My helmet says, "phone pairing". Whereas my husband's helmet says, "intercom pairing". So they won't connect.???

Hello, Phone Pairing and Intercom pairing are two different things. Intercom is helmet to helmet connection, phone pairing is for stuff like music, gps, etc from your phone. The easiest thing to do is turn the helmets off, then back on and try the process again

Have tried for 15 minutes with no luck. It would be much better if you showed zoomed in on 2 helmets instead of far away. I can't see what the lights in the buttons are doing....

John C, Try turning the helmets completely off and charging them to 100%, and retry the pairing process. Happy riding!

@@BrGoBu hold down middle button for longer than 5 seconds until you hear intercom pairing on both. then press one helmet's middle button. To turn off hold down front and middle at same time.
