Love your content man! Thanks for posting this. I have an alt rogue, and I find myself teaching several rogues Including people whose means are rogues. How do use tricks, and how to cancel the threat transfer. I’ve been almost killed in killed copious amounts of times across all of my characters. My lock, my DK, and my rogue when trading tricks…

What’s the WA you’re using that shows when you used tricks, and then after you attacked it sowed the 10sec timer for the threat transfer to your target?

What if you tricks a rogue.. thats also using the cancel aura..? Do they cancel the buff aswell as the threat transfer buff?

Depending on whether the rogue you're tricksing is Assassination or Combat you do/don't. If you're tricksing an Assassination rogue then you don't have to cancel the threat as they Feint weave which should reduce their threat to healer levels. As they want it up at all times the only time you might want to cancel is at the very beginning of pull just so that they don't die. For combat you should cancel as they don't use Feint. Since Assassination rogues will probably have Feint over Glyph of Tricks you should probably come to terms with only getting 6 second tricks from them vs your 10. They might swap but in my opinion it's not worth it as Feint also reduces AoE damage by 50% and decreases threat. It's probably too good to give up.

This is probably stupid but does using a throwing/ranged weapon work for enabling tricks to go off faster? I guess it doesn't matter much since as a lock you'd want it after you get crit debuff on boss anyways.

Yea it would as long as u dont miss. Breaks ur stealth and wastes a bit of ur prepot tho
