Any reason why you don’t connect air to the gun and force the last bit of reducer through it?

John, that's a great point. I definitely do that before storing the gun, forgot to mention that. Thanks for bringing it up.

This was a great video!!! I learned some tips. I never thought to pull the trigger upside down before removing the disposable. I use an old stainless dog food bowl like you used the trays. I also like to keep a quart metal jug of thinner instead of going to the pail everytime. I also use a stainless 1 cup to scoop paint out of a gallon. Since it's stainless it lasts forever and Cleans up. Nice. I think I'll do a video of my process. New subscriber!!!

Awesome, I'll be looking forward to the vid. I'm enjoying the progress on the 60. Watched several progress vids on it last night. I'm at the point to where you are working on the quarters. Looks like you got a great crew in your corner helping with the project! Very nice work

@@DoubleRRestorations thanks. Wasn't that happy with the end result in the driver quarter. Was lucky enuff that my buddy found a belair parts car that had a great quarter so we replaced it in 1 piece instead of patches. Way less bodywork now

How are you doing Russ? I'm missing your project fast times videos. I want to see a rust repair video on the torque boxes/ rear floor. I'm facing the same issue with my 79. You can buy the handle the paint shop has on cans on the mixing rack. They have the mixing part that goes in the can that you can hook a drill to and give the product a little mix plus they have a poring spout with a shut off so you can leave it on until you’re done.
@DoubleRRestorations4 жыл бұрын
I have seen those. I havent tried them though. They do look like they would work really well and help keep the work area clean. Good point. Thanks Michael.
