Nah it is actually ^ dude at GameStop and trust me I know where I shopped but he could’ve warned me about it but didn’t so I winded up buying a headset that was NOT compatible with my console due to me being in a rush and not thinking clearly but the guy didn’t care and sold it to me anyways even though he knew I was playing Xbox so yeah it does matter man some people just don’t care

USB Headsets don't work with the Series X. What sucks about that, is the headphone jack in the controller, always distorts your voice comms and doesn't get very loud.

For everyone who has tried everything and the mic still doesn't work: Try changing the AUX cable to one with three rings. One ring means mono sound, two rings mean stereo sound, and three rings mean stereo sound with a volume input. I hope this help

Xbox does NOT do audio pass through on USB. You CAN NOT use a USB headset on Xbox directly.

Indeed on xbox u CANT and don't u guys DARE buy an USB headset for Xbox because yes it won't work, it has to be AUX, 3.5mm or AUX with 3 rings on it (these 3 are the same thing but it's for being more specific)

Not true I have the turtle beach 700 stealth max it was working perfectly fine in my Xbox series s it is a wireless headset with a usb but for some reason it just stopped working so it has to be a different problem

You need to get a 35$ turtle beach headset from 2016. You plug it right into the controller, and that's it. No charging, no Bluetooth connection BS. No need to charge them. I play with that headset, chatting people for hours, ZERO problems.
