Do you hate Arale this much too? Most people who love plastic man love him because, as the op said, he likes being comic relief so he always has tons of one-liners and uses his powers mainly for jokes. He doesn’t enjoy fighting at all. The feats people are talking about actually happen in alt earth stories, like injustice, DCeased flashpoint and DC vs Vampires. HIS stories don’t go on about how strong he is, and he rarely does anything amazing in them. That’s because his stories focus on, believe it or not, being funny! Also, it has been explained to you in these comment sections plenty of times, that he is so powerful because he controls every atom thats part of his collective being. That means, he can connect them in any way to become anything he wants, any shape any size. If you don’t understand WHY this is overpowered, then we can’t help you lol. You would need to listen to a very basic university chemistry class lmao. It would be even better though, for you to be normal and enjoy your power lev- I mean characters and let others enjoy their’s. He can also change his colors, he chooses not to because ironically despite how easy it is to alter his density and form he has to concentrate and it's a little difficult for him to change his colors, so the reason everything he turns into is black, red, and yellow is basically that, and the more of himself he alters the color of the more he needs to concentrate to do it. One of the reasons you could call his son more powerful then him is because his son can color change with ease to better replicate what he's taking the form of, which is why for the most part the things his kid turns into look correct, however it is unknown how bruce was able to tell where his kid was hiding but that plasticman could hide from him.

I always thought he was a cheap knock-off of Mr Fantastic, but the reality is, he is possibly the most powerful character in any comic book universe. Thanks for this interesting video!
@nickbrutanna9973 Жыл бұрын
}}} _I always thought he was a cheap knock-off of Mr Fantastic_ Actually, Mr. Fantastic is THE _"knock off"_ -- he was literally *at best* the fourth "stretchy" superhero to appear in comic books. Plastic Man is a Golden Age creation, actually appearing first in 1941, and was mainly very tongue-in-cheek, not a particularly "serious" superhero, unlike many others. Jimmy Olsen became "Elastic Lad" back in 1958. Elongated Man, "Ralph Dibny" made his first appearance in Feb 1960 as a backup feature of The Flash. Oddly, he was created because Julius Schwartz did not realize that they already owned Plastic Man when DC bought the rights to Quality Comics in 1956. EM was not based off of PM in any way other than the similarity of being "stretchy", however. Mr. Fantastic didn't appear until Nov 1961, more than 18 months after EM. There might be others who predate him, as well, but those are the most obvious ones for DC. Mind you, Not saying Mr. Fantastic isn't a significant and interesting character. Just pointing out that his powers as a superhero (not considering his being the smartest man in the entire Marvel Universe) are not only not unique but not even particularly unusual in comics. Wiki: "Category:Fictional_characters_who_can_stretch_themselves" -- there's nearly 100 in video games, comics, and so forth. 😉 😁

Technically he wouldn't need to slim down to less than one water molecule size as machining anything that precise would be incredibly difficult so watertight seals often rely on flexible materials and enough force to squish them together, tightly clamped rubber for example. He could likely push apart such a seal to fit through a more reasonable gap.

I don't know a lot of comics and the lore of many characters, but I am generally familiar with Plastic Man, enough so that he's on my short list of powers to copy if such an opportunity arose (obviously not, but fantasy and ally). Naturally, strong reality benders would be better options, and there are other 'immortals' with more commonly appreciated power sets, like Superman, but imagining a scenario where it's first come first served with only one chance I'd probably pick him since though he's part of the Justice League, he's often overlooked (not as much as some, but he's not usually in the top 5 listed) I would rush to try and get his power set. It's not reality warping, but he's functionally immortal, multi-purpose, and can hide better than most.

@n.s.20116 ай бұрын
Fascinating video! I really liked your analysis of this underrated character, and in general I love the fact of analyzing the potential of my favorite characters from science; but there is a specific character who I consider much more powerful and dangerous than Plastic Man, and who if analyzed correctly and with the necessary depth using nothing more than science, starting with the fact that his concept is born from the same Without a doubt, you would say that it is the most OP thing you have seen in terms of analysis. Of course, I'm talking about Alex Mercer, Blacklight, ZEUS, however you prefer to recognize him among these three names, although the truth is, there would be no really suitable name to refer to "him" due to his horrifyingly cosmic nature. I would love for you to give it a meticulous analysis, but primarily in essence that of the original [PROTOTYPE], because something you have to keep in mind is that the stories of the two games were written by different writers, so the story of the The second game was not written or supervised at all by Dennis Detwiller (original writer), which led to several contradictions and inconsistencies regarding comparing to the story of the first game and the core of the character itself, which is what is really important, so I recommend that. And so that you can obtain enough necessary information, in addition to reviewing the extensive lore of the original game from top to bottom, I also suggest that you read all the comics released by DC and, primarily, the entire official guide, since there you will find essential information which will help you partially determine the potential of this entity with infinite space in its body, very similar to Plastic Man in this sense as it is totally amorphous, but as I mentioned before, it is much more powerful, I know this because in reality I already I have my own scientific diagnosis, but I am interested in knowing if anyone else reaches the same conclusions as me regarding this complex area of science. If you need me to guarantee you any information about everything advised, answer me and I will be willing to help you through another contact in any way. :D (It's a great idea for a future video).
