I remember collecting Pokémon cards back in the day and even though I didn't have many cards I loved all the strategy behind games and even got the Honorstoise World Championship deck. Then, yesterday I suddenly got recommended your Chandelure video and I've been watching some of your videos. I love that this game is still so active and has even more unique and cool strategies!

I collected cards when I was a kid and never played the tcg other than the gameboy game. I’ve now gotten really into the intricacies of the present tcg, opened 5 booster boxes and have had a great time collecting and playing ptcgo. I’m just kicking myself because some the cards I had as a kid are worth a great deal now.

Really small thing, but in your last game, it would've been better to retreat the Psyduck and then use Fisherman, since you could draw back the last fire energy that you discarded for Psyduck's retreat cost. Overall really good deck and gameplay :)

Great video Andrew! One thing I tend to do to count how many cards I have in hand on PTCGO, is I count how many cards are in my deck, in my discard pile, any cards in play (basic pokemon, evolved pokemon, attached energies and tools, and a stadium card if you have one in play), and how many prize cards I have remaining. Subtract the number you counted from 60. The difference between your hand and your other cards is how many cards you have in your hand.

It's definitely a misplay not to use the ordinary rod when you have a combination of 4 pokemon/ energy in your discard pile, becasue you can basically draw into those cards increasing your hand size.

What a thing of beauty!! Will is such an incredible supporter... I imagine likely someday it will be banned in expanded... combining it with lt surge strategy and lusamine you could run this on infinite loops with many various strategies... This was awesome build!!! Love it! I need that unown card (don't yet have one) but most all the other pieces on here i have... thanks for showcasing this!

surge and lusamine are banned in expanded tho and expanded also has victini and will have a coin flip stadium (if its not banned) i dont think will is too overpowered

I was just thinking and realized this could be used pretty well to power up a giratina/garchomp with double dragon energy x3... after they can't play any trainers for 3 turns on the 4th turn you should have enough of your deck ran through to have all 3 dragon energies loaded up to perform "gg end gx" ... opponent is highly unlikely to have more than 2 pokemon in play considering they were locked from playing any trainers. 2 pokemon shuffled back in deck and you win the game. Super nasty!!!

I've tried this deck 5 times. It whiffs fire energy a lot. The draw power only works when you have fire energy in your hand. With only 11 in the deck, you're likely to miss when you discard and draw 3, especially as more fire goes to the discard. You end up wasting fire crystals to get back one energy too often.

So edit the deck putting 18 energy in it? Have you tried that? Really I think the most important parts to this deck is energy and will and psyduck. Everything else is extra. The umbreon super handy if need and extra turn. I could see energy retrievals being added and evolution incense to absolutely ensure you get salazzles roasting... and no need to even have scoop up net if the overall goal you focus on is just energy energy. Drawing and getting energy and making darn sure every single turn you have a will in your hand. Sobble, drizzle line could be helpful in assuring u always are able to get will... for Mahone everything went so perfectly...

Sad. I don't have like any of these cards but I have the win condition card. Like getting 35 cards seems really hard. Once you realize that six cards are going to be in your price pool six or going to be pokémon on the benchant battlefield maybe even a few cards to evolve them and then a few more cards because they have to have energy attached. It's just like how is that possible?

No because you need to be able to use Headache from Psyduck. Intrepid Sword ends your turn before you could do that.

bots, they use decks like 1 mewtwo EX, lugia EX or guzzlord GX with 59 energy so they can win by either making the opponent naively drawing their entire deck (so you lose at the start of your first turn) or by getting an attacker ready 100% of the time (even tho it's terrible it can still get other bots or players with bad hands)

Patrick Gianan Psyduck prevents mill so that’s the only thing you can do along with umbrai gx. If you can get a will before they start milling you’d win easily.
