@andychow55095 жыл бұрын
@@username8644 Deadlifting with running shoes is a good way to get injured. The sole is squishy, which means it compresses and moves your balance, which tends to shift the center weight point. Simply compensating a shifting weight centerpoint is a great way to tear something, when you are close to your limit. You should definitely not use compressible soles deadlifting or squatting anything even lightly heavy, like above 350 lbs, which most beginners will surpass in 2-3 months of initial training. I use kung-fu slippers to squat and deadlift, as the sole does not compress. Shoes with an elevated heel, line the inov8 335 or the Adidas powerlift are good for squatting, especially for people with stiff ankles. For deadlifting, you can't beat being barefoot, as that is what will put you closest to the ground, therefore reducing the total travel distance of the bar.

I don't know what you mean with "stronger than Larry Wheels pound for pound" Larry Wheels doesn't train olympic lifting at all...so Clarence would be obviously stronger at that... Clarence just do a little bit of bench press and Larry needs it a lot...Clarence gets mid400's...and Larry high 600's...with a bodyweight difference of 50-60lbs...Do the math. Deadlifts and squats are over 900lbs for Larry...again...do the math for both of them lifting in every movement and compare/calculate it with their respective bodyweights...
