lol talking about old hip hop artists being genuine then references NWA.. they were manufactured.. only Eazy was an actual gangsta.. honestly though it shouldn't matter or be a desirable thing, why should we want someone to be a criminal for our respect?
@weebjeez5 жыл бұрын
I mean... I don't think they were talking about criminality. The repeated over and over again, only that the old guys were genuine while the new guys are manufactured. The old guard rapped from a place and a past, which resonated with people. The new guys rap to a demographic, in a way they know will sell.
@Adam-lt4fx5 жыл бұрын

They were talking about manufactured rap being bad, and you said NWA was manufactured, because they weren't actually criminals. But that had nothing to do with what Sips and Pyrion were talking about. You later explained properly HOW NWA was manufactured, but at that point. you had already lost me

In America, or at least where I live (north east coast) every single child knows Old Town Road I used to work at a childcare center where we had a karaoke stage and took requests. The kids would always want Old Town Road... On repeat... All the time. Once it started playing every single child would rush to the stage as a crowd. A lot of the big names are basically just talkin' about fuckin' bitches and getting money, and not much else. And it only has 2 verses (and the rest is chorus and non-sequitur lines, like screaming their own name) There's still good rappers these days, but they're few and far between. And even fewer and further between when you disclude people who've been in the business for over a decade.
