It is honestly so therapeutic listening to The Dads when they rant/vent about their kids, I'm over here at risk of whiplash where I'm nodding along so vigorously, like, thank you lads, you have saved me thousands in therapy!

Also about being a dad, or rather parent in general. I think it's less about quantity of "free time" and more about how any free time you can scrape together between chores and necessities, HAS TO BE INTERRUPTIBLE in case your kids do something stupid. So free time isn't ever really free while the kids are awake.

For a good Ghibli movie, check out Whisper of the Heart. It's not really so much about fantasy and magic as it is about the characters and their relationships, but it's just so well paced, you end up really caring for the whole cast.

I love Sips' mind. I now want to see a Star Trek, but with Mormons. That would be hilarious. Just a ridiculous plot where earth went to shit, and the only humans who survived were a bunch of Mormons who created a sort of space Ark. And now they're drifting around in space with all their shenanigans.

On dating age gap. My gf is 26 and im 31.8. I want kids sooner than later. On Vday we got on the subject and she thinks shes too young. That both us need to mature more before kids. At the end of the convo shes like i hope you are ok waiting until 38 to be a dad. I didnt say anything but i hope im having my last kid at 38. That puts me at 56 when they are graduating high school. Ill still have 20 yrs to retirement and probably wont make it to that. They will probably outlaw retirement before i get there. Weve been dating 1.33yrs and love each other. Would like to make it work out but im hoping she changes her mind and we can have the first within 3 years. We both need to have financial stability and some kind of stable increasing income.

Lewis thinking the best doctor in the world is only 10% better than an average doctor is really wild. I doubt there is any profession or skill with that little spread.
