Re: Coldplay. In the Yogpod Lewis and Simon look back on their most played songs and Lewis' was "Life in Technicolour", which he explains always plays first when he hits shuffle play on his most played album "Viva la Vida". So Lewis was certainly a big Coldplay head in the 2000s. Edit: I have emailed Pyrion, so we might be blessed with a response in May 2025

There are so many incredible coldplay songs, they are not a fucking pop band, they're a rock band, it does my head in honestly. If you show these idiots these incredible coldplay songs I'm sure they'll love them. Go listen to Yes, Violet Hill, Cemeteries of London. These are incredible rock songs so fuck off Pyrion. I basically listen to all media at 1.5 or 2x speed. For some people it's a matter of ADHD, I am typically listening while doing other things. Having background noise to listen to while working helps me concentrate.

Of the many things I don't understand, modern societies keeping around a monarchy is the thing I absolutely understand the very least. And if anyone points to tourism, France is the most visited country in the world. Nobody visits Versailles or the Louvre thinking they're going to see a Bonaparte or a Bourbon. Keep the Beefeaters and throw out the royals, and the UK's tourism would likely stay the same.
