Yeah, I feel like he's missing the point. I mean, the problem he's describing can be a thing, but that has relatively very little bearing in this situation. Could that one person have handled the situation better? Quite possibly. But nothing about that lessens how awful the doctor was.

idk about legalitys, but defo many Vans and Trucks have no rear window visability. and in my area it's actully also common too see many cars missing rear wipers or the rear of the car is so dirty that you can no longer see through the rear window nor the liscence plate

It is legal to have the rear window blocked. The law states that only the driver wing mirror and one other mirror have to be functional. So you can block either the centre rear mirror or passenger wing mirror but not both.

I use a steering wheel cover so that I can still use it in the heat, but sunshades also help keep the air cooler inside the car, which is a big deal here in Tennessee. I still don't see them terribly often, but at least for me, it's more about laziness than anything else. A steering wheel cover just stays in place for years at a time.

something lewis didnt consider is there is extra threats of incest because there is a phenomenon that makes it more likely for incest to occur with complete strangers sharing genetic traits because some people like to date people that look like them. Now if they know about the potential threat and they find someone they like and they can see some potential problems they can ask, or maybe they dont have to if they have like a website or fb group or something to be aware of each other.

As one of those 32% of Americans what your buying and the laws where you live really influences how easy or hard it is to get a gun in the US. I am from the great state of Michigan. Here we can walk into a Walmart or sporting goods store and buy any shotgun, handgun or rifle we want and walk out with it, as long as it complies with whatever rules the ATF and president have federally in place. Right now that's pretty much anything that's not full auto or burst capable. Though, with the right permit, those can be bought too. With shotguns and long rifles. Pretty much walk in, get the clerk to grab it out of the case , sign a form saying your not a drug addict crimal wife beater, pay and walk away. With handguns it's different though. Handguns you fill out the previous form and another that then gets sent off to the Sheriff of the county you live in. Thus form contains your pertinent info as well as that of the handgun purchased to be kept in their files. All told though, its really not that hard to get a gun, and I am willing to bet the percentage of gun owners is probably closer to 40 percent. Some guns get passed down through a family and are rarely reported, some people dont care to let the gov know what they own for tin hat reasons, and some are criminals that aren't telling the cops about their guns. Also, IHATP...

In the UK it is not part of the MOT to have a working rear wiper. Many common cars do not have rear wipers anyway (eg BMW 3-Series Saloon)

I don't know what the actual laws say, but it'd be to do with visibility; you need to be able to see behind you, and not having wipers means you can't see as well in the rain or if something gets on the window

I understand Lewis's point on the main woman going around telling everyone who their biological father is , when it would have been easier for them to live in ignorance. What the doctor did was disgusting though, he apparently masturbated in another room knowing that he was giving his sperm to the patient waiting in the other room. The worst bit was some of the people found out that their father wasn't their biological father, because the doctor used his own sperm instead of their father's.

@@pyrionflax I think it's a bit more nuance than that for example the highway code also says: "Window tints. You MUST NOT use a vehicle with excessively dark tinting applied to the windscreen, or to the glass in any front window to either side of the driver. Window tinting applied during manufacture complies with the Visual Light Transmittance (VLT) standards. There are no VLT limits for rear windscreens or rear passenger windows. Laws RTA 1988 sect 42 & CUR reg 32 " which means you could effectively black out your rear windows (meaning you can't see through it) and that would be legal. Same applies for blocking of the rear window when excessively loading your car, nothing illegal against that either.

I am confused about how Pyrion can be a Dad with a car and be so completely clueless. We haven't had "tax discs" for almost a decade. And of course it isn't illegal to not have a rear wiper... Think about how many cars don't have a rear wiper from factory! The majority of saloon cars and sports cars for starters...

On the topic of the bumber stickers: I think it's definitely an American thing, likely because of the extensive car culture we have over here. And I feel like I've noticed the amount of political stickers/decorations has steeply increased since 2015/2016. Oftentimes this of course intersects with our absurd gun culture too, and you'll have ridiculous decals like the Michigan mitten holding a glock. I don't get it, you're basically asking to get your car vandalized IMO. I've never keyed a car, but I've also never had more of an urge than seeing a Trump 2020 sticker, a gun mitten, and a "don't tread on me" thing in the window lmao.

The people born from the sperm Doctor would not have existed if he hadn’t done what he did. This whole scenario is being phrased as if his offspring could have had different fathers, and maybe wouldn’t have gotten arthritis. This is simply not the case. There was no scenario in which they exist without the genes of the doctor, they would be different people. A bad thing was done that led to these people’s births. To hate your whole existence because of the actions of your parents is an emotional take but it’s a stupid one. For the children of this man to wish he hadn’t done what he did is two things, either they’re living in a fantasy where they could exist without him, or they are suicidal, in which case they shouldn’t be tolerated as they try to spread their depression to their half siblings
