Pyrion's and Sips' spouses have become unseen characters for me, like Norm's wife Vera in the 1982-1991 sitcom 'Cheers', and Maris Crane from Triforce-favorite 1993-2004 Sitcom 'Frasier'.

They should make a game like geoguesser but you get a clip from a random triforce episode and you have to race to find it.

I guess only way it’s okay to kick a dog is when it’s rabid and gonna bite ya. Maybe in that context Lewis met it?

Hearing about Count Binface near the end of the podcast reminded me a whole lot of an American "politician" named Vermin Supreme. He looks like a homeless wizard and wears a boot on his head. His primary policies revolve around brushing teeth, having a zombie apocalypse plan, and giving everyone a free pony. He is based.

i agree so much with the tennis comments! My best mate plays prof tennis and he complains so much about games being haulted due to external noise.

Tennis players hardly EVER lose their composure at an official or at all, especially in Wimbledon. It's just a gag reel type thing you've watched.

Pflax talking about "agents" was interesting though, because that has become a thing again with the advancements in large language models. I literally saw a video about someone setting up a company using 'AI' agents, where a person gave each agent a job description like in a real company. I bet that's the best way of using AI, us humans being the deciding element and then agents serving up recommendations. It takes a real person to filter the hallucinations out after all.

As a short term strategy; gate-keeping sports behind a paywall works because people will pay for it but after they lose interest or pass on; the gate-keeping killed any interest in the sport in the future
