Fascinating video! What struck me immediately, however, is the reason why funerals in the USA 🇺🇸 are so expensive. Burials in the U.K. 🇬🇧. Are far simpler & cost so much less! Apart from the odd family request for the grave to be “ bricked or vaulted”, the coffin is lowered into bare earth, as has been the tradition for centuries. A mausoleum may still be used by the landed gentry, if it is located on their private land, but is mostly out of fashion. Having watched videos of exhumations in the USA 🇺🇸, the state of the grave despite having been vaulted, shows how rain water has leeched into the unit with the result that it is completely waterlogged & the casket in very poor condition & the occupant in very poor condition. My personal views & observations only.

far better INHO , from the earth we come and to the earth we return. There is a poetic symmetric to it. Personally I want as little or no coffin as possible and a tree planted on top :) There is a beautiful wood land near were I live that is in fact a cemetery.
