Are you sure this is on the AQA Core 4 exam? It doesn't seem to mention it on the specification!

It mentions the use of using the double angle formulae in simple identities like sin3x. I would not take my chances. I would encourage you to learn sin(x/2) it still is applying the double angle identities as the video points out.
