This anime was one of the best ever!!! I'm so glad I ignored my friend"s advice and watched it anyway. It was like the best decision I ever made. This anime gave me so many conflicted feelings about whether or not people deserve to live or die, even if they're a bad person. But Vash sees the good in everyone no matter what, including his brother Knives, who made some bad decisions. But I love them both!

Trigun is truly underrated. Had it not been airing around the same time as Cowboy Bebop here in America, I think more people would be accepting of it. That's how I see it anyway. Everyone was so obsessed with Cowboy Bebop, which I'm not faulting-- I love it too, that for awhile, they were demanding more futuristic western anime with a bluesy/rock soundtrack. But when said anime failed to live up to Bebop (Trigun, Outlaw Star) they cast it aside as inferior.

this song reminds me a lot of the beatles when they made their transition into the psychedelic stage of music. Kind of like Tomorrow Never Knows... Vash will only live to be about 300 years from what I read. Plants are immortal, but he's only half plant, so he just has a longer life span. Which, if the anime is correct, he's about 150~ years old, so if he were to marry Meryl, she'd die around when he was 230. A sad 70 years of no wife :/.
