Thank you for posting this. I am post surgery (7 weeks tomorrow) and know exactly what you mean about the "Wo is me" feeling. It's so good to see someone who has come out the other side and is so active. Sending best wishes from the UK x

What is nerve pain? Wondering if that is what i am experiencing???
@rocioacosta5174 ай бұрын
@@lindyredmond9838 hello it’s burning and tingling sensation . It started on my big toe after my surgery they gave me a nerve block injection and I knew after my leg felt very numb . I had a pinched nerve and my recovery process was very slow and had to even take Gabapentin . It’s very painful and causes stiffness . Hope you’re okay and can get a solution because it’s not fun at all . Worse pain ever !!

Finally. Some positive. But realistic content on this injury. Noticed people who have it basically end up selling their recovery programs and it is all a hot mess.

Thanks Leboof ! I'm trying to decide what I should call my trim fracture ankle now ! 😂 (may Coleen as it happened in 🇮🇪) Btw since finding you (both ) I've been watching your non /pre trimalleolar vids Have really enjoyed, they're ,funny, warm & interesting videos . You know what ,this is one of the few true positives of social media ,having the opportunity to meet gorgeous people like you & seeing the rest of hardworking humanity, living authentic,none showy lives. It's gorgeous where you live in Florida btw. Only been to the USA once-the big 🍏 for my 40th bday ,in 2006 I'm from Birmingham UK ,second city to London . Hope you all have a beautiful Sunday xx

Thanks for the update! How many years after the fracture did it take for you to get to a comfortable place with the recovery?

Hi. For me, I based my progress on what I was able to accomplish. So, at first, something as simply as getting my shoe on was a big accomplishment. I feel like every year, I get a bit better at everything I do because I just keep trying. For me, it's learning my foot mobility and how to work with what range I have and how to work around what it doesn't want to do. Thanks

Im at 11 weeks. The skin on my foot feels tender like it is sunburned It burns even while resting on bedsheets. Did you have that and how long did it last? Also long did your foot hurt when you put weight on it?
@LeBoof4 ай бұрын
I don't remember ever feeling like my foot was sunburned and tender. I experienced a lot of numbness in my foot for a long time. Sorry As for the pain when walking I often found in the beginning that my foot would hurt in regards to how long I was on it. The longer I stayed on my foot the more it hurt. But for me therapy was a blessing as they taught me stretching exercises to help strengthen it. But my pain level gradually decreased as time went as I spent more time on my feet. Hope these answers help in some way.

What kind of compression sleeves have worked best
@LeBoof Жыл бұрын
I actually prefer compression socks over sleeves. They offer both open and closed toe. Note on the compression socks they have degrees of compression. I prefer a middle or light version depending on what I'm doing for the day. But you can find a good selection on Amazon. Thanks for your question.
