Trimming a 14" Chip and Dip Bowl

I use a foam bat to trim this leather hard chip and dip dish. The dish is heavy enough that it stays in place. The foam cushions the whole thing and it's surprisingly easy to trim.
I dry these on Hardibacker board and covered with plastic. Took a good two weeks to dry to bone dry. No cracking as of yet. Fingers crossed that they come out of bisque the same way.
