Caleb, why doesn’t every horse get horseshoes? I’m not a horse person so I see other fellas bang out and put shoes on their horses. Thanks a million for bringing this subject to us here on the KZbin channel. I watch mechanics, cooking,politics etc but I love watching this type of craftsmanship and medical knowledge applied to what I never understood to be such a career path. Thank again

How do you balance out the hoof with so much of a chunk missing? Do you apply anything to keep hooves from cracking and drying out?
