It looks much better. In fact I think you should have cut more....it's just hair it will grow back even healthier.

True but I’m just scared they might not seal again because I did instant Loc my ends but a few are still loose after a couple of washes but most of them are still sealed.

I never even knew people trimmed their locs. I thought the frizzy ends were apart of the look. Thanks for sharing.... 👍🏾

Your video is so helpful! It was easy to see how to trim locs. Less scary than I thought it would be lol I think it was the unraveling I was worried about. But it looks like the trimming is meant to be, especally on the ones that were dangling off at the ends. It's like the dreads are letting us know when it's time xD love this hairstyle

I trim my Locs once or twice a year myself. Damaged ends are never cute. I like to keep my length similar to yours. I just love how they look post trim, I’ve had locs for almost 20 years.

I really want to color my Locs, but this has me second guessing. I think I’m going with a semi permanent color.

I have the same color as her (I even got it by bleaching) and I never had a problem with breakage. I knew once I colored it, I had to increase how often I moisturize my hair. Also, my conditioner I use is specifically designed for aged and colored hair.

Just cutting those few allow for the overall locs to look better. I need to trim mines sooner than later. Thanks for this!

This is great. People refuse to trim damaged locs and they just make your hair look worse.

Hair is different lengths because they start at different points on the head & also depends on if the hair is going back or to the side. I wish I left mine alone because one of the longest I never trimmed was about twice as long before I even trimmed it some because it looked off. It's still long because it's from the lowest part on the back of my head. If it would be placed in the middle of my head it would be even. Anyway, this has been on my mind.

Hi, I have locs, too but my hair is really thin on my crown and my sides. Do you have any ideas on how to get it to grow back. I did find out that my vitamin D is low, I'm taking a supplement to see if that will help. But, if you know of any other things, please let me know. Thanks 😊 Lydia

I suggest steaming it with hair mayonnaise and Castor oil. Just have to rinse it really well to avoid the build up. It has helped mine.

I've had a bunch unravel slightly at the end since my trim (which I didn't think would happen bc I'm interlocked) but I don't mind. It's enabled me to comb out a lot of the lint buildup that's been in there. Now I just palm roll the ends when I retwist
@flossyraven5 жыл бұрын
You did good by letting the damage go. Locs grow fast. Anyways.
