How do you get a newfoundland 8 month old puppy to stand still so you can groom them . My newfoundland does like the Scissors at all. When I brush him I have to give him hot dogs to stay still so I can brush him. Because he bites the brush. And he hasn't had a bath yet. I've been using wipes to clean him. And with the coronavirus right now going around I have to do it at home right now.

I would recommend a basic obedience course. Your boy has to learn that you are the "top dog" in your pack, not him. Once that order is established, life should be much easier for you.

Keep at it! My one year old now gets in bath tub, lets me dry him jumps on grooming table. It gets better.. be consistent
